  1. Did they not knock it down to build a stand, then weren't able to get planning permission?
  2. I wouldn't read too much into the star ratings, its entirely dependent on your assistants scouting ability. Once you move into a new league it sometimes seems to take a while for them to work out how your players compare. One cracking signing can force everyones rating down too. Ross Docherty was a 5* player in League 1 for me, 4* as soon as I made it to the Championship, and 2* in the top flight. If I compare him now to the screenshot from when I signed him, hes a better player now. I've also noticed the numbers you get in scout reports are misleading. I've had better players with lower numbers, purely because they've just signed for a team. Was scouting players in September who's contracts were going to expire at the seasons end.
  3. @bennett @The_Kincardine Bennett red dotting posts criticising Celtic. Bhennet, IMO.
  4. The fact every day has him linked with Championship sides who, let's be honest, wont be signing a youngster on the back of a good month, probably suggests a busy agent.
  5. I assumed you were joking absolutely tragic. If any Celtic fan swallows that, and doesn't acknowledge it was just another example of Rodgers being shown up tactically, they can file themselves under "deluded".
  6. Scottish football is well down the run in returning to the absolute state it was pre-Sevco. Two teams getting back handers from refs, causing huge damage at away games, and the media companies ignore it all and try and claim it's all glorious. It's a fucking disgrace, but nobody will change anything, as it's all they know.
  7. My point was Celtic fans always point to the official attendances as "proof" crowds didn't dip, despite the fact it's a stone cold fact Celtic heavily fluff their attendances.
  8. Only if you believe the attendance figures Celtic push out. Celtic reported just shy of 50k for a match against County in 2012, official police report had the crowd at 35k
  9. BBC not even pretending to care about Kilmarnocks line up, and just sticking the players wherever. Anyone with any interest in Scottish football could correctly predict the line up based on the names, but not the guy the BBC hire...
  10. McFadden got longer spent on him giving Hamilton the GIRUY than match highlights. They spent longer showing Graham diving than match highlights too. We also had the bizarre scenario of them having multiple angles, and zoomed in clips, of Frazer Wright "elbowing" a Celtic player at a corner, an incident that didn't see the player react, and wasn't mentioned at all in any report, by any opposition player, or by the opposition manager. He got a ban despite the footage being grainy as f**k with no clear evidence. Sure that was the same season Wanyama had Frazer Wright by the throat, and it didn't get brought up at all, despite being brought to the BBCs attention on twitter..
  11. I cant imagine it would be a well thought out "debate" regardless, tbh. Nobody has a fucking clue what foreign refs would be willing to come here every weekend, sometimes midweek too, to ref games, and the notion we'd be able to afford English refs is absolutely laughable.
  12. Away crowds in the Championship help, a lot, depending what clubs are there obviously. I was pretty skint until I got an away tie to Celtic in the cup, can make you over £300k.
  13. It's very much like how you can still find Leeds fans mocking Bournemouth fans for supporting a "small club", IMO.
  14. It's a fair point, even the Rangers fans who claim ita the same club are having to acknowledge the fact it's now a full decade since they won the Scottish Cup, if they fail to win the league in the next two seasons they'll have to admit it's been a full decade since they won any trophy of note. Can they still claim to be a successful Scottish club based on crowd size alone? As the trophies aren't there to back it up.
  15. Well your point was the more money in a league the better the standard will be, before telling me that a league with some of the highest paid players on the planet isn't close to being the best. Do you see where I'm going?
  16. Oscar, who plays in China, is one of the highest earning players in the world on £400k a week, now hes signed a new deal. 5 of the top 15 highest paid players in football play in China (Oscar, Hulk, Pelle, Martinez, Lavezzi). Thats ignoring Tevez who was earning £615k a week before leaving. Surely thats your more money = better players = better league, in action?
  17. Worth mentioning that China has the "most expensive" league on the planet, I take it you think it's a better league than Serie A or Ligue 1?
  18. We have a loanee at Linfield who looks an absolute standout for them, technically and in terms of footballing intelligence. Hes about 7th choice at best for us in there. The Irish leagues aren't Championship standard. One of the best strikers in Dundalks history performed with us to the point we've loaned him out to Hamilton because hes not able to get on our bench.
  19. Their UK company is listed as "liquidated" on companies house, but that's dated as August 2018. A new company under the same name is listed as being created in January. Same address, same directors etc. I think someones somehow come across the liquidated one and not done anymore digging. They're certainly still listed as being an active company.
  20. Yeah you have to go there, stay off the roads though. I just rode in bold as brass and within seconds had a group of bounty hunters surrounding me, didn't even have time to get my own gun out.
  21. I cant help but feel some people are overthinking the whole idea.
