  1. Apparently it's just the same "mechanics" as 4, but with changes for online. As in, selecting a weapon is still done through the pipboy, and still takes a while to scroll through to the one you want, but the game doesn't pause as you do this, so if you need to change mid-shootout, you'll be fucked.
  2. I'd be stunned if Kerr hasn't been called up at some point over the next few years. He got dropped by the U21s for "being too old", and was replaced in the squad by somebody other. Considering McLaughlin took until he was 31 to get called up, Clark has five years. Both have been extensively scouted by Championship teams, Kerr has been since he was at QOS on loan. As soon as they move they'll be called up, NAP.
  3. I just leave it to my assistant, there's plenty of helpful guides if you do want to be involved in it though, it's one of these things that you'll get far more benefit from doing it yourself, if you get it right, but can backfire if you get it wrong. Risk free option is the assistant.
  4. It was a rule when we had testimonials, which is why it's being discussed.
  5. Easy for a man with over £500m sitting in the bank to say, I suppose.
  6. I didn't mind the episode too much, felt I'd seen a lot of it played before though, but couldn't put my finger on what exactly. As always, you've just to ignore the huge plot holes and try and use your own logic to justify it.
  7. This will sound far more sarcastic than it's intended, but what would a £20k investment into "marketing" actually consist of?
  8. This. If they'd simply said Bain impressed them in Mexico and they felt that it wasn't the right time to call up new keepers, it wouldn't be as bad, but to completely slag a keeper, and not even name him, is embarrassing.
  9. Worth remembering the Scotland coaching team clearly aren't watching talented young players based solely on who they play for. In five years when we've got another batch of 28yo players with 3 caps and wonder why we struggle to cope with tough international games, you'll come back to this.
  10. I'd definitely recommend Serie A for people struggling for a save. I'm into the Final third of the season and it's tight as f**k. Juve miles ahead, a total behemoth. Napoli second on 51, then Lazio, AC Milan, Inter, Cagliari, Roma, Udinese and Atalanta seperated by 7 points.
  11. Aye, who knows. I'm just scunnered of the whole thing, tbh. Spent years getting friend's go try and go, they all claimed they'd start going after the Cup win, and then straight away the same excuses came out. Its draining, so to see people seeming to suggest how easy it would be to increase the support just aggravates me, as none of it works. Sorry if I've been an arsehole.
  12. This will sound hugely harsh, but what the f**k can they actually do if you're going to walk away for years when you see one poor game? Every club on the planet will have demoralizing games, or games where they're just plain shite, if you just give up the moment that happens then you'll never, ever, be a regular and you'll never get the unexpected highs that come with going regularly.
  13. They go around schools and hand out tickets, they hand out tickets around local business's they advertise through the same places, they have huge signs outside the stadium, certainly used to have posters in some shop windows in town, they advertise on Instagram and FB by getting fans to share posts, they advertised season tickets on TAY FM, they sell hospitality tickets through raffles, they give discount hopsitality tickets to local companies. So that's schoolkids, local workers, local radio listeners and social media friend's of supporters they're "advertising" too. I doubt a stall on town on a Saturday morning, when there's about seven blokes in GAME, will help any. YouTube highlights are a most, but again, who's going to come regularly to games based on what they've seen on a highlights package?
  14. You think there's grown adults who don't know Saints are playing at 3 on a Saturday? Folk will make excuses no matter what. The guy saying he'd go if we put out a YouTube video would have a different excuse within weeks of those videos becoming a regular thing. I'm overly harsh, and I've correctly been criticised for that on here, but I've spent the past decade being given the same old excuses from Saints fans who don't go. I find it more annoying that people actively help make excuses for them these days.
  15. Samson was an awful keeper who only complete jammie wearers try and suggest wasn't. One good save per month to distract from the multiple blunders
  16. A hammer blow to your chances of fighting relegation, as Craig Samson retires
  17. I highlighted that month as an example, there were plenty of games that went the same route as far as I can remember. O'Halloran and Graham both had wee purple patches where they won us games on their own.
  18. Have Motherwells crowds risen since they went full social media crazy? They have "content" almost daily, have a young group of "ultras" etc. Been in two cup finals lately.. I genuinely don't think the crowds have risen at all. This problem is not unique to Saints. Spending millions to put in pubs or spending every waking hour tweeting, isn't going to get fans to the ground. Main reasons people stop going are moving to a different city for their job, moving to go to Uni, or starting a family. All three are almost impossible to prevent, and three see people slowly lose interest in attending football full stop, and no matter what you won't get them back (until they move back/kids grow up). We started with a small base and lose these type of people yearly, only way to combat it is to get the next generation to come before they reach these stages too. The club have a Junior club where players visit, have table football in the family stand with players going in there, offer the chance to be a mascot for free etc. Like it or not, but spending time trying to attract folk over 30 isn't he priority.
  19. Ironically, after all the chat about them I ended up drawing Celtic in the first knockout round in the CL. Narrow 2-1 win (Willian Jose ) in the first leg at home but they seem solid in Glasgow. Had a huge injury crisis but muddling through it slowly.
  20. It was a slog. Aberdeen game was amazing, aye, but you've picked out six games from a 45 game season there, the vast majority of games are some of the worst I've ever witnessed. I vaguely remember a run of four or five games where we averaged one shot on target per match. Was in September. 2-0 loss to Dundee, 0 shots on target. 2-1 loss to ICT, 1 shot on target which was a penalty. 2-0 to United, 1 shot on target. 2-1 loss to St Mirren, 1 shot on target. That's consecutive games. It was dire stuff, and easily forgettable.
  21. It was. We scored 34 league goals all season and away games regularly seen us struggle to get a single shot on target. We never scored more than two goals in a game all season and only scored more than one eight times. We didn't score in 12. I can half understand why folk who'd maybe been caught up in the hype and Who decided to try a game that season didn't bother returning.
  22. Maybe they could incentivise season tickets by offering discounts at places around Perth when you buy one... I hate to be that one cynical one, but you could do something like offering folk a card that, once it's stamped ten times enters you into a draw for free hospitality or free entry for a game, and you'd still see no huge regular increase. The club wasted a chance after the Final by not taking names and not spending money which led to a fucking dreadful season, but if folk are going to turn away because of poor play for a year, we'll never keep them no matter how hard you try.
