  1. A lot of my judgements are just based on their fans output, and they are a bizarre bunch. Zeefuik just looked a flat track bully who physically dominated centre halves, and who'd have struggled against more complete defenders in the top flight. Regardless, managers do well some places and fail others, it'll be interesting to see how Neilson gets on if it is him. Would expectations be lower with him than Ross?
  2. For the top flight. Souttar was a really obvious signing, while the likes of Djoum and Cowie are solid enough but don't really stand out, Kitchen was despised by Hearts fans for being a nothing midfielder. Was Zeefuik not a Championship player for them?
  3. As an outsider Neilson would be interesting. Never rated him at all at Hearts, as his success was built on a very Levein type mantra, and the current Hearts team plays exactly the same pragmatic style, which makes you think. His signings at Hearts were pretty poor aswell, which is a worry for you if you're looking at a rebuild.
  4. Heard it's in doubt because his wife's work has offered her free lunches
  5. I enjoy the fans on Twitter who claim "teams like St Johnstone only survive due to our away crowds", despite us literally having enough money in the bank to buy their club.
  6. I doubt he'd reach double figures. McMillan and Kane will start as the first choices, Hendy is highly rated and looks class aswell, so realistically if the new striker isn't better than Kane/McMillan they'll be competing to be third choice
  7. What? I've critisiced nothing or nobody in that post, my talk about clubs spending six figure fees regularly again was a positive. Most clubs seem financially sound, investing in youth/facilities, and capable of spending money on fees. Thats brilliant for Scottish football.
  8. What's McManus like? 13 goals this season isn't horrendous. Linked with Nicky Clark for a while too, not sure who'd be a better fit. Can either play on the left?
  9. Dunfermline fans reckon we've made a move for Declan McManus, 23yo striker who scored 13 goals last season.
  10. Honestly not wanting to start a "FINANCIALLY IRRESPONSIBLE DUNDEE" chat, but if you recieved £3m for Caulker and Kamara, how much McCann get of it to spend in fees/wages? Sounds like Scottish football is approaching a time where six figure transfer fees become common place again.
  11. Dont waste your time on RM. Ten posts in and not one person has said anything against the club, it's all about a BBC/Celtic conspiracy to bring the ub down, and that the youth coach is "innocent until proven guilty". Genuinely sickening.
  12. Heard this is close. Jason Naismith from County, Ali Crawford from Hamilton, and Kenny Miller also to be done tomorrow. MARQUEE
  13. Dorrans at least gives you something going forward, Murphy is a completely different player but it utterly predictable. Arfield is a complete nothing player who's lucky Burnleys "high energy" approach means he can run about on the right wing a bit, contributing nothing but pressing full backs, and still get regular game time. All three haven't resolved any weakness in the Rangers squad and seem to be signed solely because they've played in the EPL and Scottish football at some point.
  14. So Rangers are paying £45k a week for Carlos Pena and Scott Arfield Absolutely fucking mental. Arfield turns 30 this season and has four goals and three assists in his last two seasons.
  15. Two St Johnstone Scottish Cup winners in there, and one who's become a mainstay in our team. Strange old world.
  16. Goodwillie plays for Clyde, I think that pretty much confirms he's a rapist.
  17. Highlanders brilliant. Connery playing an Egyptian called Ramirez, in a broad Scottish accent, is a standard of film making that'll never be matched again. Shame about the sequels..
  18. Bouncers will always be on camera, at any decent venue, so it should be cleared up pretty easily either way.
  19. Unofficial Twitter has quotes from TW about remaining targets. Priority is a left winger (does that, along with Wright signing, hint we'll be moving away from 3-5-2?), and he wants a central midfielder. A back up Gk and striker also mentioned if possible
  20. Could tell him it would be random and hope that would be enough to keep him away from it just incase?
  21. It's going to be a long months wait until the strips unveiled for you then
  22. McGowan must be thick as f**k. A regular, and captain, at a club where the fan base like him, and he's potentially throwing it away for a night out. He should just avoid going to places like that as footballers are always getting goaded by folk in nightclubs.
