  1. exactly, players made us money even after they stopped playing for us when they made their second move, just think about that, players whos wages were paid by Swansea made us money whilst we slept. it was100% the wrong call also the high school team of 2012 who were mostly youth graduates and mostly local were largely forgiven for performances that would have any other group of players hung because they were "our " team, the board really missed a trick with the fans on that one.
  2. Sridhar and co aren't giving it we care more, there giving it "we're smarter than you and you should listen to us"
  3. Fans did demand change, especially during the Presley era, in 2013 as well as wanting Pressley out there were a few on here and one F who wanted the academy binned and a team of journeymen signed ( no serious there were) Morton did the journeyman method in 2012/13 and narrowly missed out on promotion and if there had been playoffs in those days I would have fancied them to go up , there was a vocal minority of Falkirk fans who wanted us to scrap the academy and go down that route ourselves, they went quit after Morton got relegated the following season. There was absolute seeth in 2014 when we didn't make enough effort to get promoted and again that we didn't really bother the year hearts hibs and rangers were in the championship with us instead they gladly took the increased gate money, That's the problem with fans, they demand a lot but don't always make sense or agree with each other, the reason the board doesn't listen to fans is the same reason players don't listen to auld c***s screamin " get it up the park Falkirk"! at the top of their lungs, they think we're talking shite and just ignore us
  4. Not really, no other party would do anything any faster if they win the election instead of the sno, perhaps the tories but even then it’s not guaranteed and they haven’t made any promise about it for the election
  5. If you put some sort of jim carey liar liar spell on them and said “ Awrite then, if not now then when the f**k will you allow us to do what we want” their answer would be - after someone else does it and we know theres no negative effects
  6. 7 deaths across the whole uk when there has been 2-3 thousand cases a day in the last month. Back in January when Scotland alone was getting 2.5k a day there were 70+ deaths a day Some performances from the vaccines From a lockdown fan x
  7. And now we go live to a special address by the home secretary " PLEASE BE A WARE "
  8. Almost every country with a populist leader has done terribly in this crisis , it's like they don't know what they're doing and just pander to the lowest common denominator ...
  9. In between taking big handfuls of quality street?
  10. Whatever that c**t says we should automatically dae the opposite
  11. It was already known that scientists want to keep masks and SD in place until end of Q1 2022 but politicians want it gone in the 2nd half of this year. Boris is just reacting to being grassed on for his comment about the bodies
  12. If there no limits on private house ( which there fuckin well shouldn’t be anyhow ) whilst the rest of the economy has to operate with one hand tied behind its back then the baw is well and truly burst for hospitality
  13. i'm also quite disappointed we haven't even attempted anything bar the pointless token of 300 fans in an otherwise empty stadium. let someone else worry about that seems to be our MO
  14. Would today be the lowest numbers since the Aberdeen pub made Nicola want to cry last year?

  17. Exactly, A men's senior professional team should know exactly what they're doing , what to do if they can't break down opposition, if they concede, if they get a man sent off etc Do a bunch of scaffolders have the foreman standing telling them move by move what to do
  18. I’ve heard from those who’ve been that Chinese and Indian food in their respective home countries is nothing like what they serve in restaurants in the west also given the size of both countries saying Chinese food is a bit like saying European food, massive regional variation
  19. He’ll just deny it and I doubt anyone has real evidence so it’ll just be spun as bitter Cummings telling tales
  20. I recon for football stenhousemuirs ochilview would be a great place to have a trail run at a sell out crowd with no masks or SD, youd need volunteers for it but it’s only a 3k capacity with one stand and one covered terrace, the turnstiles are the oldschool style wall back at the roadside, there are no indoor walkways or concourses ,the pie shop is a window outside and you’re only inside for the toilets themselves. Start of somewhere like that and work up the way?
  21. Countries that don’t have furlough ( mostly developing countries that can’t afford it) don’t have lockdowns, to enforce closure of the economy without compensation for those affected would lead to the swift collapse of society . Some have put in other measures like evening and weekend curfews, kept schools closed since march 2020 and so on. In most developing countries it takes far fewer cases of seriously ill people to overwhelm the hospitals and many people have died of pneumonia who would have survived if they were in the first world.
  22. I know ffs, I’m not very keen on so many of the rules but people who argue the toss about them with smart arsed remarks ie oh the virus can’t get you at a wedding or if you’re with 6or less , are missing the point None of the rules will prevent someone catching covid, what they do is mitigate how much it can spread by putting limitations in place Pished people get louder the more drunk they get, spit when they talk, lean into peoples personal space when they’re talking to them and don’t like taking a telling from others You can see why the government are reluctant to allow folk just to go and get steamin right away
