  1. That can’t be true there would be a 6th wave and double variant if it was. Wait 2 weeks
  2. don't announce it, just do it. That's what everyone who's breaking the rules is doing these days
  3. in the true spirit of the blitz, we should all go and get blitzed
  4. Did this pish not start by some of those alt right wanks often referring to the prime minister of Canada as “ the substitute drama teacher “ which was his first job after college or whatever, I noticed some seething gammons in Scotland refer to sturgeon as “ the divorce lawyer “ in a copy cat way. Not the kind of c***s you really want to be associated with tbh
  5. Callings cards of spoilt wee c***s who need a slap more like!
  6. "WE SHOULD PLAY MORE ATTRQACTIVE FOOTBALL" - team plays nice football but concedes too many goals and fails to get enough wins = " we should stop kiddin ourselves and get back tae basics!!1"
  7. cases and positivity have taken another shoeing, and only 5 deaths recorded accros 4 days
  8. Yeah I understand it from that point, which makes me take slight issue with the reporting of deaths. the way they have done so with the running totals make it sound like a war or natural disaster, obviously there have been many people who have gone before their time and I'm certainly not belittling any death from this. but it's not like they would all still be here had it not been for covid. the same goes for future waves too, if a vaccinated 87 year old tests pos
  9. so about the same as we managed in the first fortnight in January? Death literally the most unavoidable fact of life. get restriction right in the bin
  10. You could also get hit by a bus, so we should just restrict all buses just incase
  11. The big question is which club is going to have the biggest crowd surge.... In all seriousness when it comes to football I think there will be an initial bounce as people want to get back to what they've missed out on but then will come a slump as many people, or perhaps more likely , their family members have gotten used to doing something else during football time and will no longer find it tolerable for example for a man to disappear for 5 hours on a Saturday leaving the wife & kids and coming home pished when they had gotten used to him helping round the house, taking the kids out somewhere etc etc or am I just being old fashioned?
  12. I think the upcoming election and the fact that the snp are generally given quite a hard time by most traditional media outlets ( compared to westminster regardless of which party’s in charge) doing worse than England on covid when health is devolved would be the mother of all SNPBAD’s . They’re scared of that, genuinely
  13. It's mental, I think their logic on it is they're pretty sure what they said about fomite on surfaces and face coverings is pretty wide of the mark, but if we change now, (especially on masks as that would be a doubling back to their original position) then the public won't take us seriously when we learn more about this, so just keep everything we said so far
  14. I haven't, I never wanted them and can't wait till they GTF .
  15. There's probably a bit of that, but I think we as a species don't naturally treat each other like we're all disease ridden lepers and to do so for a prolonged period of time is unhealthy and will have people unable to ever properly relax. as for masks, 1, they do next to f**k all & 2 so much of our communication is down to non verbal facial expressions , even in Asia it wasn't like people would wear them from 9-5 whenever they were out, it was only in crowded city places and even then it was never a majority that did so
  16. I remember the day of johnosns speech, they did only say all legal limits on gatherings sizes would be lifted, they mentioned nothing about masks, social distancing, entry criteria etc I really wish they'd give us an estimate for removal of mask rules.
  17. i'm pretty sure that when they say data not dates, they really mean is - we reserve the right to postpone any opening if we think it's too dangerous but under nae circumstances do we do anything early
  18. I was dead against the smoking ban when it came in, but after a few years & long before I eventually stopped smoking I changed completely and wouldn't undo it if I had the power. Thing about those places, even before the smoking ban, and this may just be down to me being a young shitebag at the time who was new to pubs , But did it not seem like 15 years ago and before that there were many more pubs that you couldn't just walk into off the street for a pint, as in you had to be known by some of the regulars otherwise you were at best made to feel very unwelcome or at worst were in danger of getting your head kicked in? a few places ( most of which fitted your above description and are now gone) had an air of "who are you & what are you doing in here " about them
  19. To be quite honest, if the torries are in charge of giving out tenders for implementing this vaccine passport, then I’m not worried about it in the slightest, why worry about something that will be so late and so half arsed that itl have no effect on us at all
  20. Bottling is always unacceptable lockdown or not . It’s also a shoe in that there is drunken disorder on the first sunny day of spring each year . Again lockdown or not
  21. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56620517 So we should all behave with restrictions to get crowds into Hampden for the Euro's Al take yer euros aff ye! Fuckin hell, what kind of pish will we get next
