  1. It is a restriction. Back in the day after I’d had about 6 pints and broke the seal, i used to make a sharp exit from the pub toilets to avoid being harassed by the aftershave man. I would pish so often whilst on the beer that if I’d went to the sink every time I’d have no money left
  2. I thought this to, unqualified obviously but I thought that within reason the mankier you were the better your immune system, especially when your wee.
  3. Enforcement of the travel ban has been absolutely negligible since its inception

  6. Surely no one would seriously buy that, they can’t use the “ deadly virus “ line for flu, everyone knows what flu is and nobody ever expects a lockdown for it
  7. Why is everyone getting upset over something thst hasn’t happened yet? I’m goin to go on a limb and say that for the eu at least, once they have good enough vaccine coverage of their own citizens there will be no requirement to show proof or be denied entry. Keep in mind europe has open borders in normal times and many people cross borders daily for numerous reasons Yes i know brexit makes us a bit different but my guess is that any such vaccine entry requirements could end up only being for travellers from countries where covid is still a serious issue and vaccination rates are low Corridors will likely become a thing for a while
  8. Oh no no anyone and i mean anyone who doesn’t get it should have their bank account frozen get served an eviction notice lose their job and be forced to live off the grid Yknow just like we do with the mandatory flu vaccine...
  9. Question needs to be asked tho, why are rangers having a party before they win the league? Obviously they will go on and win shortly so why this weekend?
  10. Still haven’t once been asked what I was doing on foot or in the car. Almost a year now, not that I’m complaining obviously I’m glad but this is a kiddy on lockdown

  12. I guess theres never going to be a grown up conversation in that case then, because they clearly do not have the stones to address the wailing wains with their " how come they're allowed to at the fitbaw but we cany dae whit we want" with a very clear and concise " because one is low risk and the other is high, end of fuckin story"
  13. Pish! Everyone knows that mars bars are just treats which taste fucking good but are in no way a proper meal and it would surely be common knowledge that you can’t live of mars bars alone otherwise you’ll be in bother. People need to use their brains and justapply the same logic to savoury foods like mcdonalds or greggs . Something doesn’t have to be sweet to be viewed as a treat rather than a meal . Also healthy food is not more expensive. Go to a supermarket and by ingredients to make a meal for 4 people and unless its steak it will always cost less than a takeaway. People either don’t know how to cook or can’t be arsed. Or worse don’t want to put in the time and effort to persevere in getting their kids to eat a balanced diet so simply give them whatever shite will pacify them so they can have an easier life. Finally just because you have a car doesn’t mean you have to drive it to somewhere 5 minutes up the road . I am less than a quarter mile from a big supermarket yet plenty of my neighbours use the car to get there and back . Try walking no and again Folk need to take some responsibility for themselves
  14. it's called priming, I remember there was much "opinion" in newspaper columns from pro snp writers around 2007 pre emptively supporting an "idea " The idea was the 2 tier drinking age proposed by the snp when they first came to power (18 for licenced premises' and 21 for off sales) Ultimately it never made it and the opinion has never been heard from again
  15. By my arithmetic that's all but one patient leaving the hospital in box tho, at least there isn't another 35 to take their place

  18. Not being negative but is it not more likely that the younger people are at work? whilst most of the over 75's will only be leaving the house to go to the shops once a week? or have they been attending prohibition style speakeasys to play dominos and smoke cigars ?
  19. this can only be acceptable if the "levels" are far less restrictive than last year . Needing under 50 cases to leave your local authority in the middle of july? get tae f**k . The vast majority of rules can't be enforced en mass so forced business closures aside many more people will just say f**k it and do as they please, just as they are now when it comes to covid vs independence, a lot of people could look at whats happening hear and in the republic of Ireland where they are talking about mid july before any real loosening, and are actualy using police roadbocks to keep people in line. plenty folk could see that and think well if this is what independence looks like then you can stick it up your arse
  20. The Brazilian foreign office has advised against all travel to falkirk, just in case
