I’m not sure what’s up with it to annoy Number seven. The set up and first choice is pretty much how we started the season - A team playing well, defending well and scoring goals. Then Max got back from his holidays and started tinkering.

Now that he’s back hopefully the push Adam Cole will likely receive dwindles fairly quickly. Credit where it’s due, he’s alright on the mic and plays the heel fairly; however inside the ropes I think he’s incredibly beige and “Panama sunrise” is one of those moves that shouldn’t be a move. It’ll be interesting to see where they go with him initially though as I don’t see him being stabled with the Bucks again now that Kenny Omega is back. Some shite about feeling neglected by the Bucks for their pal Kenny while out injured leading to a Cole-Omega could be a decent feud especially now the best-of-seven has concluded.

Based on what I have seen this season this is what the starting 11 should be in a 4-2-3-1. Where there are multiple names the first name is the first choice. The only exception to this for now are McArthur and Todd. McArthur needs a run of games at centre back before we know who’s best of him and Todd. The positions would stay constant unless injuries or suspension meant a reshuffle was needed. Dan is the man for the centre forward role. He is brutal to play against and creates more goal scoring opportunities. Doesn’t matter if the centre forward is a goal scorer as long as the goals are coming from somewhere.

I put it down to unnecessary tinkering with the team. I also think its the reason we lost to Talbot in the Scottish.

Kyle Johnston MOTM for me tonight. Very good performance from Bo’ness particularly second half. Think a couple of tweaks to the formation would’ve got us more goals, i.e. the front 3-4 that started the season. Big Dan up front, Jones right, Stevenson left and Hamilton the no 10.
