  1. You were professional in 2020-21 when you won League Two, how long do you expect the "transition" to take?
  2. Not really got any sympathy for the Dundee fans, but I’d like to think that if and when Queen’s Park get promoted, the SPFL don’t forget this episode in the event of them trying to move fixtures against the likes of Rangers and Celtic from their daft wee shoebox to Greater Hampden in order that they can cash in allow more folk in to see the game.
  3. I saw that mentioned by an Ayr fan (possibly yourself) in the last week or so, but to be honest I don’t see it. Imrie’s post match interview on Tuesday would suggest to me that his eyes are firmly fixed on Ryan Fulton and I don’t see McAdams leaving one Championship bench to go and sit on another. Failing bringing in Fulton, I’d imagine Jack Hamilton may well be back on the radar if Schwake returns to Livingston as their number two.
  4. *Two keepers. We’ve gambled on one pretty much since we had Gaston and McNeill about 5-6 years ago now and it’s about time we had options there. I’m at pains to criticise Schwake (or McAdams or Hamilton for that matter) but there has been times he’s needed taken out the firing line and we’ve just not been able to do that. For the most part, we’ve got away with it over the years, but we really have to start looking at having proper cover in that position.
  5. Not sulking at all. I’ve got no real reason to have anything to get upset about what’s said about any Highland League clubs. You just come across as a bit of a dick in a lot of your posts, which is why I infrequently give you red dots. Here’s another one, you’re welcome.
  6. Yes, I’ll be there. And the steak and black pudding pies are my favourite Arbroath delicacies, even above the kippers. I may (will) retract the cat calls and wish you good luck if you happen to end up in the play-offs with Falkirk, though.
  7. Yes, I’m sure you’ll be looking back wistfully at the halcyon days of playing the famous Greenock Morton in a few months time when you’re slumming it with shite like Alloa and Falkirk.
  8. Almost as if these things even themselves out. Except they don’t, given that you managed to get a scarcely deserved point out of the scandalous decision earlier in the season that could end up saving you.
  9. Great stuff, a still picture from a game you won 3 1/2 years ago with no context. That’s really put me firmly in my box.
  10. Pretty sure I remember being denied a stonewall penalty that should’ve seen you reduced to ten men last time we were up in Arbroath. Are we just overlooking that one?
  11. Assuming that’s the BBC’s preview, nice of them to give Morton a mention. Usual east-coast bias ripping right through them.
  12. Let’s take a moment to reflect on this post. Molotov is more than likely standing in St. Mirren’s wee shoebox, with his team leading the best team in the land 1-0, but down to ten men and is using his 15 minutes of respite to come onto P&B to post about Morton, a club that he claimed a few weeks ago he didn’t give a toss about. In no way is he for the watching, not at all.
  13. Did you edit that post in the hope that it would make you come across as less of a fanny that when you made the original one?
  14. He had a very slow start to his Morton career- must admit I wasn’t terribly impressed but he was beginning to come onto a game when he got injured and then Ambrose came in, performed well and he was stuck on the bench. Came on at Partick Ambrose came off and did fine. Won his place back after big Efe’s nightmare at Celtic Park and hasn’t looked back. I’d say Friday was his best performance for us, it was telling that Imrie made a bee line for him and Baird and embraced them so warmly at the final whistle. We extended his contract until the end of next season too, which I’d think most are delighted with.
  15. It’s almost as if I didn’t account for nobody having won anything in the seven weeks of 2023 yet, so didn’t poin out that it’s not really worth counting and you didn’t completely ignore it just to suit your argument.
  16. Not wishing to be pedantic, but considering no trophies have been handed out yet this season, the eleven year period would cover the last season of the old club, which of course won nothing as they were heading to the wall. Nice theory, but 2011 did see the end of a sustained period of relative success for them.
  17. Indeed. Typically you hear how we “play a certain way”, basically mangers’ code for, this lot are just putting the boot into our clearly superior players, and using it as something to get into referees’ minds pre-match or as an excuse post match. In fairness, Lee Bullen generally comes across as very fair and balanced.
  18. Ian Murray’s tears were great after we beat them at Cappielow earlier in the season. He’s a right p***k of a guy.
  19. How did that work out for you then?
  20. That seems very strange given that Inverness’s profile depends mostly on their success in the Scottish Cup, even pre-dating the club’s formation in 1994. Perhaps they’re just at it?
