  1. First leg Tuesday if Ayr finish 4th, Wednesday if not. Second leg Saturday.
  2. Subject to pointless procrastination more like. (love ma big words)
  3. SPFL site still says May 7/8 in the "key dates" section. It's an absolute joke that we're still asking this question eight days before we might play the game. Last season they announced the dates on April 24th and it was Tuesday night/Friday night. So given the season finished a week earlier last year I'd expect confirmation by tomorrow.
  4. I sensed the relationship between Ian McCall and the fans soured after the Talbot game when he was coming out with "it wasn't that bad" type comments when the rest of Scottish football was laughing at us. I know of some fans that haven't quite recovered from it, rightly or wrongly. I am starting to feel that a change might be best for both the club and McCall, but he has deserved another season in the Championship if not.
  5. Thats a quality GIRUY from the guy sitting above the letter G.
  6. Whoever does the drum is really good at it, far better than most tedious efforts you hear. It was loud against Ross County in the second half despite losing. We do have the best home atmosphere in the league, just, but then again the competition isn't up to much. Our ground lends itself to creating one.
  7. Yes I remember that but just hoping/wondering if he'll be back for Tuesday. I can't believe we're embarking upon yet another injury crisis.
  8. Not sure if anyone has posted but what is the situation with Michael Rose? We missed him badly last night.
  9. There's no doubt a big, expectant home crowd has the capacity to make the home players nervous. Depends on how Falkirk start the game I suppose.
  10. When he's on his game young Craig McGuffie is a great player to watch. I hope we keep him and he develops as he clearly has talent.
  11. The Ross County game is Good Friday which might help. It's annoying that both trips to Dundee are on a Friday but I will quickly forgive if we see a repeat on the field.
  12. I think most winners are people that don't normally attend football games but are happy to support the local club in this way. That's my impression anyway. In an ideal world we would have no need for an AU500 fund but an extra 2k punters through the turnstiles every fortnight.
  13. Cheers folks, didn't realise it was in the paper as I only told the lottery staff and I only buy the paper on a Saturday. It's a drop in the ocean compared to the annual wage bill but every little helps and all that. I'm getting a wee day out in the directors box on Saturday by way of thanks so hopefully a victory will give me a chance of grinning smugly at Dunfermline's management after the game
  14. I've been sunburnt from sitting outside Tutties after one game there. Honest!
  15. A sequence of three home games in a row that may well determine our fate.
  16. Its a reminder of where we are now in comparison and the chance to really enjoy the last 13+ games knowing we'll be at the very worst in this league next season, something that hasn't happened for 15 years.
  17. Staying in Beauly for the County game, two cheeky wee half days off work. It's the night we send a message to the gaelic speaking masses who's the daddy of the Championship.
  18. Hoping East Fife beat Partick on Saturday, otherwise that's yet another Saturday home game moved to midweek.
  19. Until we get regular crowds of 4-5k we'll never complete with Carlisle for players.
  20. Did anyone else initially read that as Steven Seagal? Ah, just me then.
  21. It's amazing what they can do these days. Since the last home game a mini housing estate appears to have sprung up on McCalls Avenue
  22. Mark Kerr is an auld scroat and injuries take bloody ages to heal than they used to. I know the feeling
  23. Was worried they were going to change the date. My hotel is booked and trains paid for last week! Wouldn't mind one more Friday fixture in March though.
  24. I just don't want the Shankmeister to end up at Rangers. Yeah sure he's a big fan, but then he'll mature and realise they're a bunch of utter scumbags.
