  1. Staying with the old dear tonight and she's kindly allowed me to watch this on her prized telly so make it a good one lads!
  2. The main Scotrail site has trains running ok on February 8th (probably because some rugger fans have complained about not getting to Murrayfield on time for the England game) Looks like the Saturday engineering work has moved to the 15th based on this link: https://www.scotrail.co.uk/sites/default/files/assets/download_ct/20350_ayrshire_9-23_feb_2020.pdf Actually seems like Ayr to Glasgow is ok but Glasgow to Ayr needs a change at Kilwinning, and some buses on around lunchtime. Lovely.
  3. Home tie works for me. Its Scotland v England in the rugger at 1645 that day so any away tie near Edinburgh will be a right pain in the proverbial.
  4. A great result and hard working display that gives me a wee bit of confidence for next Saturday. Love feeling excited about tomorrow's draw despite probably getting Livingston.
  5. Trains returning to normal in that area, we've just passed Gilmou Street on our way to a hastily arranged pub crawl in Dundee.
  6. Just ordered a ticket for the cup game on my ancient phone with no problems. The pdf file was attached although I believe the game is loaded onto the season ticket card as well, given I was logged in?
  7. How much do these daft displays cost? Not to mention a few kgs of single use plastic. If the money they spent on it was instead donated to local charities in the East End I'd have a lot more time for the odious wee shites.
  8. Dearie me, didn't know that I'll declare a wee interest here, think I've actually met Jorg and had a beer with him in Nuremburg of all places. Will certainly be looking for him as he is sure to have his green Gladbach scarf on.
  9. Biggest issue is whether that Killie anorak and his German pal Jorg have found a pub to enjoy some hilarious prematch anti-Ayr banter with the QOS comedians.
  10. Would be interesting to know how many fans would rather this game was played on Thursday along with the top flight games. Boxing Day crowds are normally bigger from what I can recall.
  11. If anyone has had a bad injury like Docherty they'll know the feeling of not quite being as confident in their body as previously. I've been there too. Disappointed he's leaving but this idea of giving him abuse is nonsense. Beyond the two years there is a decent chance his income stops.
  12. And then would those fans that have boycotted the club because of the current regime come back? I know of a few.
  13. Out in Dundee the night before the game. Any dos and don'ts of Black Friday up there?
  14. What looked like a superb save there from Doohan to save two points, need to see that again. Hard work but more than deserved. Really like the look of McKenzie.
  15. Oh great, the programme happily informs me that the last time we won on this date was 1957.
  16. I think it will go ahead but the conditions will affect the game, especially during passing showers. All the more reason to play to feet. (I'm well aware the majority of my posts are about the weather)
  17. I never made it due to flooding on the trains last night, think a lot of people were also convinced it would be called off after the ICT debacle last season. Our crowds will decline though if we keep this poor run going, just a pity they don't increase as quickly when we do well
  18. MET Office updated forecast for Strathclyde "the more persistent rain clearing by evening"
  19. Given the stand is the same price as the terracing, and I think the season ticket lets you in too on an unreserved seat, you can choose to watch the game without getting soaked. Some folk like their routines though!
  20. MET office website saying 25mph winds with 40mph gusts. Less windy than the ICT game called off last year due to high winds. Morton's Twitter page suggests they have no problems with the pitch or the easing conditions forecast.
  21. It is to calm down slightly tonight (weather warnings for wind and rain expire at 5pm and 3pm respectively), probably to Arbroath seaside standards so there is still a chance. Let's grow a pair and get this on!
