  1. Why on earth did the Lachster think having a Q&A on social media the day after McCall left was a neat idea? Surely waiting a week or so might have been sensible?
  2. Thats about an hour now and I'm over McCall. Onwards and upwards, with a Gayfield Park steak and haggis pie in the hand.
  3. Probably now explains why the club Twitter page was pretty much forgotten about before, during and after the Alloa game. I thought everyone must be at the races!
  4. Whoever it is he'll be able to say "when I first came to this club they were riding high at the top of the Championship playing great football. Now look at us."
  5. Just like Shankland, why does it have to be in the same bloody league?
  6. The old dear suggested I follow the manager and start supporting Partick instead aye nae bother mum!
  7. Just like Shankland's injury last season, things are never allowed to get too good are they?
  8. After seeing her on the pitch when we won League One I can confirm she fits a pair of leather trousers very well.
  9. Yeah? Well I'm 46! Joking aside my point is we've not had a sustained period of being successful at a high level to build up a decent hardcore of support compared to the likes of Falkirk, Dunfermline and Partick. It may well be that even if we got promoted people of Ayrshire wouldn't show up at Somerset but we won't know until it happens. Personally I have no affection to the town of Ayr and its people these days, its all about the football club. I get jealous of other towns that get right behind their football team although that tends to be in other countries, not Scotland I think due due to the OF poison. I think I'm basically crapping it in case days like yesterday (which I unfortunately missed) come to a shuddering halt.
  10. Expecting a point at best next week. But given Arbroath is one of the league's best away days I won't be bitter about it.
  11. Perhaps a spell in the top league might help our home crowds instead of spending the last thirty years fannying about the 2nd and 3rd tier of Scottish football. Most of the teams we face in the Championship have managed this. Or, like QOS for example, they have gubbed an OF side and been in Europe in the not so distant past. We need genuine achievements before Lachlan and co can moan about crowd sizes.
  12. Here we go....Radio Scotland say Partick have approached us for McCall
  13. Home fans "booing merrily" according to Radio Scotland. Is this a Dundonian thing?
  14. Based on the current forecast only those pale skinned fans liable to burn should shelter underneath the tent!
  15. Yesterday's result must have put us in the mix for the next batch of Friday night TV games which is obviously good or bad depending on each fan's circumstances. I'm thinking in particular that game at Tannadice on Dec 21st.
  16. Can't remember who it was but one of the Dundee Utd player profiles in the programme said he had trials for Raith Rovers....and AS Roma
  17. We require at least another two pumpings of the home team then I'll finally forgive them for that horror April Sunday....
  18. Not seen a single comment about the new ticket system from home or away fans so I assume everything went well yesterday? There didn't appear to be any big queues anywhere.
  19. At least I know where to go the next time I require a polystyrene platform.
