  1. Apparently this is the last season we're selling paper match programmes for the league games. Online only from next season.
  2. "booked up for Belgrade and everything" Never mind, sure "everything" will be well worth it
  3. Cheers, I replied asking for an attachment. Don't think anything was going into the spam folder. I wonder if it was because I ordered the two games together as I had seen that some folk had ordered the games separately. I say best getting these gremlins ironed out with shitey games v Grangemouth diddies before our glorious league campaign
  4. After several failed attempts on a Microsoft browser earlier in the week I managed to order tickets for both games on my old dear's Chrome browser, however I forgot to login so I've got an email with both games ordered but no zip file attachment which came with the season ticket email. Knew I shouldn't have done this late at night! With a steely determination I am going to hold onto my old Microsoft mobile come what may...
  5. I thought the club were supposed to be selling the two BetFred Cup games online from last Monday. Or was it this coming Monday? No sign of them on the ticket section.
  6. One of the things that infuriates me is potentially losing Saturday home games to the Tunnocks Cup . We have potentially two (v Dunfermline and Morton) this season. The club statement makes clear the loss in income from home games being moved to midweek. Hopefully no Amazonian monsoons in Ayrshire or players being too good so that they get called away to international fixtures this season either
  7. Are we the only club in the league not selling season tickets yet? I've always wondered why we do this every single year.
  8. I'm hoping wherever he goes he'll be pish and come back, but thats just me being selfish.
  9. For anyone thinking of getting the train to Berwick there is a direct CrossCountry one from Glasgow departing 1100 arriving 1246, currently £11.50 advance single. There is a really cheap direct CrossCountry coming back at 1822 for £6.55 advance single departing Berwick at 1822. These ticket prices are first come first served though. You'll need day returns from Ayr or wherever to Glasgow as well if required.
  10. Those green binliners are going to end up in the Atlantic aren't they?
  11. Personally I thought this was some sort of hyperlink
  12. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48328882 That speech is a belter.
  13. Just before we moved from Ayr in 1988 and the old man had a few cashflow problems I vividly remember him trying to get both of us in by writing a cheque! Failed
  14. I really like the new playoff format in the National Conference to League Two in England, where single game eliminators take place before a final at Wembley. The teams higher up get home advantage prior to the final.
  15. I suggest anyone doing this takes a printout of the Scotrail link in the original post covering the routes affected and the weekends applicable, in case of stubborn Scotrail staff. Fair play to @Meathead for this, its a cunning ruse
  16. You'd need either a Smartcard with the season ticket loaded on or a photocard with a paper ticket I think. I've got a monthly season ticket from Troon to Edinburgh (yes, mental I know) and I think I already qualify as the Glasgow to Edinburgh via Cumbernauld is one of the routes I can take.
  17. That normally applies to the number of advance single tickets left available to purchase. I'm trying to spot a catch here and can't find it. I can't believe you can just order a wee season ticket on the Fife line and be able to travel anywhere but that does seem to be what they're saying! From the FAQS: "Customers don’t need to apply. Those on the qualifying routes just present their season ticket – valid at the time of travel – to gateline and on-train colleagues. If someone is accompanying you, they will not need a ticket to travel, but they do need to be with you at all times on the journey." I think the only risk is that this assumes all Scotrail staff have been briefed in advance about this offer, so there may be a bit of hassle trying to get through the barriers at Queen St and Inverness armed only with a Dunfermline to Dunfermline weekly season ticket.
  18. We always get the Virgin train to Carlisle then 40 minutes to Dumfries, far more pleasant. Although tomorrow the line is shut for engineering works. Certainly worth considering in future. Plus Carlisle is wild (in a good way) on a Saturday night. Sorry, just seen the previous post about this option
