I totally get that point, but some clubs struggle to get a team together and then on the first match they get smashed and half the players chuck it, and the cycle continues. Would making it a split competition Premier and Championship play each other for a trophy First and Second Divisions play each other for a trophy might give them something to aim at and put a bit of life in the competition for the lower league teams

Looks amazing Darvel, the last two seasons have seen a lot of clubs improve their pitch, most notably Dalry and Kilbirnie, now clubs are looking at other improvements. It really is modernise or die for junior clubs in a pre pyramid era, in a world of social media players are considering the whole playing environment just as much as the £££ some clubs have always known this and many more are catching on to it

Going by your other posts you don’t think Junior clubs should pay players, why not try the Amateur forms, problem almost solved

The one thing that a lot of people miss when talking about the SJFA versus the SFA and highlighted by Bonnyton when I talked to them is that every SFA club has a club development officer, these guys are on the end of phone, based in Irvine, and can help you with pretty much everything from starting a club to getting funding. The SJFA don’t really get involved in improving clubs and making them sustainable, they don’t really have that knowledge.
