I just run around doing side quests using the sandvista modification and f**k people up. Haven’t even met up again with Takenaka yet. Story seems dogwater.

A lot of the story is explained through item descriptions and in-game interactions with the world. Do agree the dialogue can be fucking ridiculous sometimes, especially if you end up doing the Ranni questline.
