  1. I hope McGlynn gets his jotters after Saturday, that interview post match was a shocker. Basically never owned up to being an inept twat and had the cheek to have a pop at the fans . Sorry but if your going to come out with that pish and blame everything other than your own failings then you can do one.
  2. Airdrie absolutely deserved that. From the team line up I thought McCabe will have them set up to fly out the traps and we would be on the back foot and so it proved. Game was done in the first fifteen minutes. McGlynn I had my doubts about well prior to this game we absolutely have not been the same side for months and was already losing patience with him. This puts the tin lid on it, he's a stubborn, tactically inept clown and bleating about not being able to defend well it might help if you signed defenders and a goalkeeper who can. We got blown away and yet McGlynn doesn't change it n brings one sub on at half time. Aidan Nesbitt must be absolutely pissing his frillies at being financially secure for the next two years. Good luck to Airdrie in the final.
  3. Pretty sure he's on a two year contract. I hope to f**k it's a year with a year option, but he'll be fondly remembered for giving Nesbitt another two year deal when he could have left with the best wishes of absolutely no c**t.
  4. Our cup run filled a void but as for next season who knows.
  5. Take a draw right now. While a narrow defeat isn't the end of the world, we go down by 3 or more tonight I don't see us doing what Airdrie did to Montrose in previous playoffs. A 3 nil or 3-1 to either side will be hard to overturn aswell. And for christ sakes please let the defence and keeper not have any fucking calamities tonight. No giving penalties away or chucking one in the net or a red card either. I'd also fancy our chances better if Morrison is fit.
  6. There's a few i'd have had in that side before him, Wighton, Kennedy, Chalmers, McGinn to name a few, and you'd have thought Alloa might have had at least one player in it seeing as they made the playoffs.
  7. Think the league will be weaker regardless, Cove coming down won't be anywhere near as strong as Dunfermline, and as for the team(s) coming up there's not much difference. If Hamilton come down I don't see them going straight back up either.
  8. Not so much playoff experience it's much more likely our bottle will crash. Happens all the time. We are the biggest shit the bed merchants going, we all live in hope one day it won't happen but it never fucking does.
  9. Be careful what you wish for I'd hoped we had seen the last of Nesbitt.
  10. Hopefully it's a clerical error on the paperwork and McGlynn gets busted for tippexing over Burrell's name and putting Nesbitt.
  11. This is probably the hardest game out the two semi finals tbh. Whoever wins this I think will get promotion. No disrespect to Alloa or Hamilton. On their game Alloa at least have been scoring goals where as Hamilton it seems can't score in the proverbial barrel. Will there be a huge gulf in class between those two I'm not so sure.
  12. It's shite getting relegated for any side but I have absolutely no sympathy for Hartley. It'll be a tough ask for Cove to get straight back up.
  13. Does he though? If it involves one up top and it being Gary "I can't score a tap in from six yards in a Scottish cup semi final" Oliver he can f**k right off. We played better when Alegria was up front, he might not have been the finished article but he absolutely caused problems for defences in this league and allowed other players to score and create.
  14. Looking at it I'd absolutely agree. We are as soft as shite with the current squad Which kind of gives me the fear even if we do get to the playoff final. Rankin will know get in our face make it a battle and it's not our strong point. But we can worry about that if we get there. Over to Airdrie or Alloa tomorrow pick a straw.
  15. No idea what to expect from this tbh. Total dead rubber of a game for both sides. Will be a very much changed line up for us. I don't see us busting a gut so I think this could be a nil nil or a 1-1 and get back down the road hopefully injury free.
  16. Personally I just don't trust McGlynn to get us through the playoffs, i think his tactics and the way he will set the team up will cause us to fail. I'd also add on the recruitment front we absolutely never replaced Alegria, you could roll Allan and Wright together and they still wouldn't be as capable a striker. They both look to be panic signings, Wright is just shite and Allan just looks to be the wrong type of player for McGlynn. He could end up being the 2.0 version of Wilson ie sitting on his arse on the bench picking up a wage for the next two and a half years.
  17. Not keen enough apparently, I've said before I fully expected to see the last of Nesbitt after this season, over two years he hasn't warranted another contract imo improvement or not. The p***k downed tools in his first year with the rest of the gang, and he absolutely goes missing when it suits him. If we do go up to the championship I think he will struggle albeit probably not the only one. McGlynn deemed him worthy of a new contract it just gives you the fear a bit about who else he's going to throw a new deal at next if Nesbitt is the yardstick.
  18. Alloa 1-1 Dunfermline Clyde 0-1 Montrose Edinburgh 2-0 Airdrie Peterhead 0-2 Falkirk QoS 2-1 Kelty
  19. I'm very much in the belief that McGlynn's remit was to get us up at the start of his tenure whether it be winning the league or via the playoffs. The pressure is very much on him over these next few games, he's talked it up let's see if he can actually deliver, I'm not confident though. If he is still here next season and we are in league 1 and considering the team or teams coming down won't be as strong as Dunfermline. If he can't get us up then he absolutely should be emptied, although I'm running out of patience with him already and if he turns us out as a passive gutless shitshow in the playoffs then he's very much on borrowed time with a target on his back.
  20. You'll probably not be the only one feeling like they need a wee hair of the dog or two before the game. Helps settle the nerves aswell as the stomach!
  21. I was absolutely blotto the last time we played them in the final. That said it wasn't as early.
  22. You could say the same about us. We were on a wretched run of form since we beat Ayr in the cup. I don't see us going all the way through the playoffs playing great stuff. We have that we will not turn up game in us aswell. Without looking too far ahead I just hope it's not tomorrow.
  23. All the best for tomorrow guys, may the best team win (as long as it's us ) and hopefully the game isn't decided on a dodgy decision by the ref or VAR.
