  1. Airdrie 1-1 Falkirk Clyde 0-2 Cove Dumbarton 0-2 Montrose East Fife 2-2 Partick Forfar 1-1 Peterhead
  2. They will end up resting a few and bring in the loan boys, Connolly, play two up top and probably make a better fist of it than last night, then drop them all for the next league game and be utter dugshite again.
  3. As much as he did his best to look abject during his post match interview, it really was a load of pish, the fact he believes Robbie Leitch is an important player really sums up the bother we are in. I'm looking forward to his post match interview after the impending humping at Celtic to hear what other pearls of wisdom he will bestow on us.
  4. Desperation pure and simple. Desperate in they don't know what they are doing, and panicking, hoping in vain they can somehow snatch a win so they can come out and say they played well, there's no easy games, big quality squad blah blah. With Lewis lapping up every word they say. When in reality with each game that passes it really is showing they haven't a fucking clue...
  5. Goes to 22 then we will be dead n buried . M&M will park the bus in every game.
  6. Take your pick from Conor Sammon, Akeel Francis or Anton Dowds.
  7. He's had a lot of trouble with a shoulder issue, as others have mentioned maybe the injuries are catching up with him but for me he's very slow, loses possession a lot, and contributes not a lot. Maybe a change of scenery will do him good, I'm not sure if you still have Arbroath to play away but I'd certainly consider dropping him for that or the wind will almost certainly put him on the treatment table.
  8. Cove 1-1 Airdrie Falkirk 3-0 Dumbarton Montrose 2-2 East Fife Partick 2-0 Forfar Peterhead 1-1 Clyde
  9. Not saying we would get him but that's the type we should be looking at if we want to have aspirations of going up from the championship should we get there. Or at least be asking the question.
  10. I can't see Mercer being with us next season tbh, he's out of contract in the summer, he's also worse than Doyle. If there was a remote possibility of getting Neilson on a permanent deal then that's the sort of signing we should be making IF we go up. Not jobbers like Mercer.
  11. Josh Todd has joined Ayr United on loan from Falkirk till the end of the season.
  12. You'd have to think Laverty and Sneddon might get a loan move aswell as they aren't getting a game anytime soon.
  13. Good luck to Todd, but he's murder,, no pace, more obvious when he's played wide. He also very injury prone.
  14. A workmanlike performance, created nothing chance wise which is worrying considering Forfar looked utter mince and will probably go down, two goals one a pot shot and a gift from the keeper. 3 points and not much else to add really.
  15. One turn and run and a pass to a team mate (standard really for a footballer of basic ability) doesn't alter the fact he couldn't hit a barn door.
  16. That's a bit optimistic given he's only scored one league goal for us. You'll get decent odds on that though., I just don't think he's anywhere near good enough, he doesn't look like a natural goalscorer , and I don't really see what else he brings to the party bar running about, losing possession, or ending up on his backside. His miss away at Partick in the 2-2 game summed him up for me. All the time in the world to pick his spot a few yards out, harder to miss and he puts it off the post. I thought then this guy is one of those that needs about 10 chances to maybe score a goal. He probably is the best foil for Keena only because Sammon and Francis are worse
  17. There will be a few of our players heading down that road come end of the season hopefully, Durnan, Dixon, Connolly, Sammon, Telfer, will all be on McKinnon's wishlist you'd have to think.
  18. Certainly the noises made previously by our chairman etc would suggest we want to be back in the top flight within as short a timescale as possible. Whether that comes to fruition remains to be seen, but I'd agree if we do go up anything less than the promotion playoffs isn't acceptable. By the same token if M&M show loyalty and dish out deals to the majority of the current squad we will be in the playoffs at the wrong end of the championship.
  19. Aye and if there's a difficult way of doing things we'll find it.
  20. Mutch, Neilson, Durnan, McLelland, Dixon, Morrison, Gomis, , Alston, Keena, Dowds/Telfer, Fotheringham. Leitch is murder but he seems to be a favourite of M&M so wouldn't be surprised to see him start. I'm assuming Durnan was rested last night and isn't injured. At some point the Durnan/Hall combo will make a ricket either collectively or individually which should see the return of Dixon to centre half and Deveney or a fit Kelly go to left back. Expect us to win by a couple.
  21. Yip one league goal, a pretty pathetic return, the absolute glorious chance he missed away to Partick still makes you cringe but tbh it's been abysmal from Sammon and Francis too. Especially when you consider Keena being out for a while not one of them stepped up to the plate. Hopefully the 3 of them are away in the summer.
  22. We were very fortunate tonight , but a trip to Celtic beckons for the pittance of cash it will be, good luck for the rest of the season, hopefully see you in the championship next season chaps.
  23. Going by our co manager we are playing a few of the fringe players tonight, I really don't think we are arsed about the cup and rightly so our focus is getting out of league 1. Fully expect yous to win, is Jack Hamilton eligible to play in this game?
  24. I'd play Cantley, Todd, Leitch, Sammon, Dowds, Laverty, Deveney, Francis, Sneddon, Mercer, and Connolly, in an ideal world tomorrow. In any formation I couldn't care about the cup. If M&M risk Keena, Morrison and Mutch then they want chased. Use our "big squad" as our co manager puts it, pity he left out the words talent, devoid, of.
