Agree, as for the big squad to cope with injuries that may be true we certainly have numbers but the replacements are pish. There are 3 decent players in our entire squad in Mutch, Morrison and Keena. The rest can get in the bin.

Montrose dominated our game today, we were murder but we managed to stick the ball in the net twice. I wouldn't say we are over the hill and far away just yet. Not on today's performance, but it's a league full of mediocrity and the team that shits the nest least will win it.

We have been mediocre all season tbh, which says a lot about the standard in this league, we have also been lucky. There will be more than a couple of teams come off the park during the course of this season saying "how the actual f**k did we not take anything from Falkirk?"

9/2 is pretty decent TBF. I think Hall will start, I really hope Durnan, Sammon, Leitch don't but you can add Todd, Mercer, Dowds, Francis, G Miller, Laverty, Deveney, Sneddon to the hopeless/never feature list.

What's the betting we come out sluggish as f**k, Montrose score and we will be scratching about late in the game bring on our co manager to try and salvage a point.

I'd have been asking so you think you have enough quality up front if Keena gets injured again and why haven't we signed a back up keeper, also was there no interest from other clubs in some of our players going out the way or was that too much of a hard sell?

I dunno our entire defence looked like they hadn't met each other in the East Fife loss. Your hoping that was just a one off.. that said the whole team was rotten that day.

Given loans were about the only option for most if not alI now i'm not sure about ours. 3 kids, two who have featured in the first team for Dundee Utd. They should play but given the rough n tumble of league 1 and our management team's record for sticking with the tried n tested failures I wouldn't be so sure they will get enough game time. Flip side being we badly needed another decent striker, back up keeper and attacking midfielder which we might well have got had the season not stopped. Bit meh really I'm not sure we signed what we really needed but time will tell.

If they don't go up via the playoffs they will be hoping Hamilton come down, and have a last crack at it then. As much as Nelms is firing cash at the likes of Cummings and Adam, you get the feeling he doesn't have the nouse like McGregor when County were down, I wouldn't be surprised to see Dundee hit the admin button again.

Cracking signing for Airdrie.

I thought we were doing a good job of it before it stopped, certainly looked like the wheels had well n truly came off against East Fife. With warning signs being there previous to that debacle. I don't have faith in M&M at all to deliver the title but circumstances have dictated they are still here. If season hadnt stopped I don't think they would still be our management team in all honesty.

Turner in particular is a great signing for Airdrie, while we have to endure Josh Todd.

Brechin is about Sammon and Dowds level tbf.

I don't think M&M will start any of the new signings, they will be hoping the tried n trusted (failures) get a win by any means possible. Then gradually blood some of the new kids because that's what they are. We really don't have time for that, hoping for a win but after such a long lay off I think it'll be headless chickens running about the park with little or no purpose. Hope I'm wrong. We were dropping like a stone before season stopped I fail to see how we are suddenly going to come out and blow Montrose away.

I'd have still liked us to bring a striker in supposing it was a loan from a prem side. God forbid Keena gets injured again, the thought of Dowds, Sammon or Francis up front quite frankly gives you the boak.

You just know that we will come crawling out the traps, and it'll be an absolute shitfest. I can't remember the last game we totally bossed someone other than Dumbarton in this league. Tough game, I wouldn't be surprised if we drop points, and it'll defo be a loss if it's a performance anything like the East Fife game.

I'd be quite surprised if Johnstone kicks another ball again tbh. He was pretty much done when he left us.

Is Deveney even still with us? I thought he might have went back to Killie when our league stopped, more so now that they have a new manager who might have wanted a look at all the playing staff. Have to say that was a total waste of a loan, similar to ie Moore from Hearts, I don't get the point of bringing these guys in to hardly feature, that suggests they aren't considered good enough, You'd be aswell just leaving them to fester at their own clubs.

Probably a last throw of the dice from McCall to try and get them up, old pals act, experience etc. We on the other hand are the complete opposite and lack younger legs and energy and have done so for the last few seasons. I hope the young boy McLelland plays week in week out, flip side being he could find himself struggling if we start back in the same vein like the East Fife game.
