It's the quality of player that worries me. Hopefully Holt has been helping them identify players. Their transfer record is starting to get akin to Houston proportions.
I really don't see the point of Josh Todd, he's slow, loses possession, and injury prone. Leitch isn't much better. Just reaffirms some of the absolute dross in our squad, plenty in terms of numbers but by f**k there's almost an entire 11 you could bin.
Obviously has saw much of our current centre halves. But we have signed young defender Kyle McLelland on loan from Rangers so that might end our interest in Forster.
Wouldn't surprise me. Only us could sign a right back that's worse than the one we let go. But as you say if he's a ball playing defender and doesn't like the physical aspect he's in bother. Hopefully he's been signed to go straight in and not a jersey filler like Deveney.
I think we were already there, really couldn't see where our next win was coming from, the East Fife game our players looked totally lost. An 18 game season really is the best chance we have of going up and even then you get the feeling we will chuck it away.
Well someone has to because other than arsing about doing crossbar challenges, or keepy uppies with the players using Brussel sprouts, we were dropping like a stone before it stopped. I hardly think he's wasting his time more like we absolutely need him to try and get m&m over the line.
It would be really shit but it's probably what's going to happen. f**k knows what damage that will do to us but I hope Rawlins have got deep pockets. The powers that be don't care, Doncaster is a complete buffoon he must have some serious shit on someone to still be in a job.
Morrison, Keena and Mutch you'd keep, G Miller is very nearly done, Alston looks like a shadow of the player he once was, Dowds just looks like a punt that isn't working and Sneddon hasn't had a sniff
Tbh I don't think many of our current squad are good enough to. But M&M will no doubt rectify that by giving out new deals like confetti if we manage to limp over the line.
Crawford Baptie worked in a garage when he played with us, he never went full time. Yet he was still probably one of the most underrated players we ever had. Sure Stevie Aitken ex Dumbarton manager had a good job with Rolls Royce.
I think it will come down to who is the less crap. We were dropping like a stone before it stopped. There's nothing to suggest we will be any better if and when we resume. I'd even go as far as to say it probably saved m&m from being unemployed. It's anyone's league.
Some also look like they have better players aswell. The East Fife game being an example, if you didn't know better you'd have said they were the full time outfit, players like Agnew who is a journeyman stood out like a sore thumb. As much as I'm looking forward to us getting back playing there's as much dread of having to endure the spineless gutless devoid of quality or ideas performance it will ultimately be.
We'll have slipped down to about 3rd or fourth after the first few games. Holt will step into the breach trying to salvage us about then if he doesn't piss off to Killie.
Depressing enough with no footy but by f**k there's some absolute dung in that squad that we are probably now stuck with no matter what happens. It looked not bad on paper at the start but there's 8 or 9 that really want chased.
If someone could take Sammon, Dowds, Durnan, Mercer, Leitch, Todd, Francis, G Miller, Laverty off our hands today that would be smashing, mibbes even get 1 get 1 free. Oh and Deveney back to Killie. Ta.
