Daily record appears to be hinting today that Curtis Main could actually face Dundee this weekend so that's certainly very promising news.

I see the sun tonight has an exclusive for their paper tomorrow linking us and Hibs with a move for Kenny Miller. Bizarre one if you ask me.

Kipre is definitely signing a new deal so we can sell him for good money, I'm convinced we will sell him this summer as well. Been interest from several clubs who have been monitoring him all season.

Andy Rose out for 3 weeks with an injury, disappointing but I'm not hugely concerned as we've got enough there to cope without him, Grimshaw is expected to be fit for the Rangers game plus we have Bigi and Turnbull as part of the first team squad. Thought the midfield we played on Saturday with Cadden in the middle with Campbell and McHugh is probably the way to go with Tait and Frear on the wide areas, gives us a good balance and width that I feel had been lacking for a while.

Barry Maguire will get an extension, he's regularly training with 1st team now and I know Craigan really rates him, think Robinson likes what he sees from him as well I expect him and Turnbull to get a bit of game time possibly after the split when we hopefully know where we are likely to finish, I can see the likes of Grimshaw, Plummer, Gordon, Falconer, Newell, Petravicius, Watt, Griffiths and Morrison being shown the door this summer. Dunne id imagine will have triggered his extension by now and Rose has been offered a deal but club I think are waiting on an answer. Would love to see us sign Aldred permanently as well, having him and Hartley would be quite a partnership but i'd imagine unlikely unless we received an offer for someone like Kipre.

I reckon the summer will see the end of Grimshaw at the end of his contract and we don't know if Rose will extend his contract which he's been offered so I reckon Turnbull would replace one of them in the first team and Bigi will still be there next season for me, I think there is a player in there but it's possibly the system or style of play that isn't allowing us to get the best out him just now, but I'm not going to give up on him just yet though.

Just reading a piece in the daily record that if we win the Scottish cup this year then we'd take a spot in the Europa league off the side that finishes 4th in the league. Ultimately we need to get to the final first but just goes to show the potential of what could happen when you consider how bad the last couple years have been for us.

Totally agree I've been saying this for a while and his quality of crossing is absolutely garbage, particularly the cross he had that would've given Main and he somehow managed to fire it miles over him and out for a goal kick, wouldn't mind seeing Ross Maclean get a chance over Cadden now. Only half decent crosser i'd say we have just now is Frear.

Campbell will definitely be a future Scotland International, great player a bit like Scott Brown only better on the ball I would say.

I'm not sure the exact figures left but I do know that Hutchison has continued the double money for 2018 so that's at least a bonus for this year, With the share sale I'm unsure on the numbers who took it but one of my friends did purchase shares so hopefully that's provided a reasonable return.

That's certainly possible, however if that is the case then it will be a very lucrative summer for us as it would take fairly big money to part with any of them.

I spoke to the chief scout earlier this season and he said we wont be having another summer of seeing 17 players in and out as that would be suicidal for the club and most likely put us in relegation trouble, We only did that last summer out of necessity as the whole club needed a change in direction with Robinson feeling we lacked energy and pace while bringing the average of squad down. I would imagine 4/5 at the very most going out and the same number coming in plus we have the likes of Barry Maguire, David Turnbull knocking on the door of the 1st team from the under 20s.

Newell is meant to be back for Tuesday nights game with St Johnstone, most likely to sit on the bench, Bowman got another 4 weeks before he returns but Robinson isn't afraid to draft in the kids to the squad whether it's for cover or their performances in trainings and games recently have been of a high standard and they've earned the right to be there.

Should see Elliot Frear back in the squad this weekend he's been back full training for the last week or so, hopefully can start him and Cadden out wide and give us some much needed width to get crosses into the box and make us more effective going forward.

According to the Sun, yes sadly that rag, they claim Celtic have been put off the 750k valuation of Carson and now moving on to other targets. That's good enough for me.

From what I heard today Bowman has an injury but not serious and if rumours I heard are true he wont be at the club much longer either.

I'd be surprised if we didn't see a couple of players leaving whether its on loan or permanently, Aldred was an area we needed to fill as centre half is an area we needed to cover for injuries or suspensions. I wonder if the likes of Plummer may depart in this window, it also wouldn't surprise me if we binned one of Bowman and Fisher as well.

I seem to remember that with Grimmy, it was initially meant to be a loan before they decided to rip up his contract and allowed us to take him on a free. Think he's only signed a 1 year deal so out of contract this summer as it stands.

I see Alan Burrows tweeted last night they still hope to make further additions both at the back and up top, that would tell me we are actively trying to offload the likes of Bowman or Fisher as they've clearly not had the desired effect we hoped for, I get the impression we are going to be pretty active during this window.

According to the Daily Record this morning we are keen to sign Dundee midfielder Mark O'Hara on a pre contract.
