In fairness for me any ambition was done the day we decided fan ownership was happening, its now all about just surviving as a club in the top flight, producing some good youngsters to sell on for money and bring in a few players like yer moults etc to develop and sell on. The benchmark club for me is St Johnstone a squad that have some experience but also good honest hardworking pros that get the job done, but what they have that we don't is a manager who plays players to their strengths and a proper owner that can facilitate a decent calibre of signing for them.

I reckon the team selection on Tuesday night will have a bearing on any last minute departures for any key players, which I hope isn't the case, but its safe to say if Moult plays we have him for the season and if he's left out then we've sold him. I will await with interest on that one.

Like the sound of him being a natural left winger and seems to assist more than he scores which is fine, you get the ball in the box for a guy like Moult he will put it away!

Motherwell seem to enjoy getting right into action at the end of the transfer window lol! I think we will see a defender today and if rumours are correct Brill is leaving so we might see a keeper In before the window closes.

Its the guy that I saw mention on here the other day, a winger who was playing in Sweden most recently but started out at Crystal palace.

I'd imagine both the first team and under 20s will have games pencilled in during the winter break, probably these usual behind closed door sort of games but haven't heard anything as yet officially to any games.

As it appears Laing is away, I actually felt when we signed Heneghen that would probably spell the end for one of Kennedy or Laing and with McMillan and Ferguson also there for defensive cover it appears we don't actually need him anymore.

I think this is the move he's needed, its been spoken about for about a year or so that Dom needs a loan move, hopefully this will do him the same benefit that happened to Cadden that gets him ready made for our first team, championship is a tough league this year, but playing against teams like Hibs, Dundee Utd, Falkirk & St Mirren etc can only be of benefit.

Yeah I remember believe it or not as far back as the pre season game against Albion Rovers thinking this boy has something about him he came on in that game, he was spraying passes about during his sub appearance like he had been playing for years. I saw him in the Morton cup game for the 20s a couple weeks back and he was excellent for us, scored a long range effort that Keith Lasley would've been proud of in his younger days.

Very refreshing to see the club putting its emphasis on the youths and typing up our best talents on long term deals, when in the past we would have let their contracts run down. Davie Turnbull has been of our best players in the 20s this season, i'd imagine the next one we might see follow suit will be Jake Hastie.

I actually thought Graeme Smith was a decent keeper, miles better than the likes of Woods and Samson that's for sure. Throw in Gordon Marshall who wasn't the best but again better than Samson and Woods for me.

Moore has been back doing some running when I was at training last week, so don't think he's all that far away from returning to action thankfully, be good for him to get some game time at Ayr again and see if he can continue scoring goals with them.

I believe Cadden went off with a tight hamstring so id assume he pulled out of the Scotland under 21 squad as a precaution.

Trialist keeper for the 20s on the bench tonight, Crags has only really had Morrison in goals so far so wants to have 2 keepers. Hope Belic and Lucas put in strong displays.

Wes Fletcher is really going places now, he has signed for The New Saints of Wales.
