    We already are like that. Almost everyone who wants independence votes SNP regardless of their other policies; almost everyone who opposes independence would never vote SNP, even if they agreed with most of the SNP policies.

    Made me think of the fine margins for us against Hibs, penalty goes in we go 2-0 up and probably win, all a long time ago now but makes you think. On Thistle never like to see a club in trouble but as someone pointed out on that thread, sympathy stops when clubs are running up debt to outbid other teams for players with money they don't have.

    Would be sorry to see Smith go but if we lost him and gor Gabby signed up I would take that (hopefully Frizzel staying as well)

    I would agree with @cb_diamondon Stanway, decent enough and wouldn't be adverse to us having signed him but woulndn't see him being a first team player for a team going for the league

    Doune win the league! Game on Saturday forfieted by the oposition so league goes to Doune, weird way to win it though!

    This is my lingering worry too, I think some can step up no doubt but wil be a steep learning curve for the younger players and we'll need to start the season well

    Saw in the hamilton thread that Tiehie, De Bolle, Sparrow, Stephenson, McGowan, Smith, Lawson, Ngandu McGowan, Ashley-Seal, Doyle and Gaffney have been released, dont know much about them but wonder if any will be worth looking at for us?

    I think you might be right @Skyline Driftergoing up after 10 years has made me picture the current Airdrie team like prime Brazil in my head so probably not best placed to judge

    The problem with this is that they would not have strengthened either Airdrie or Dunfermline this year or the two teams that went up last up last year in Cove and QP, if Falkrik want out this league that's the benchmark

    Just thinking back to this time last year, Murray away, playoff lost then we seemed to take forever to sign players and started the season with barely a full squad, what a turn around. Championship looks a strong league this year so ned to get a squad assembled early for a strong start, lose the first 3-4 games and it could be hard to make up the ground.

    See on the Cove thread they are going largely full time next season, maybe some of their part time players worth a look for us, assuming we are remaining hybrid ourselves and Arbroath now competing for the best full time players @CoveRangers1922might have some thoughts.
