Agree with this, we've just played the bottom three and whilst results have been great we've really struggled at times against the times round about us in the league, I think Falkirk will be second, Dunfermpline top but the other two playoff spots could go to anyone from Airdrie, Alloa, QOTS, Montrose or Edinburgh. Wouldn't like to predict it but I think Alloa will make it and Montose wont leaving one place for the other three. I think the Championship team will win this year with Stirling or Dumbarton beating Clyde, Peterhead going down.

Is this possible though for any leader over a sutained period of time? I think parties can gain widespread support for a few elections and the SNP have probably held it together for longer than most but you cant appeal to all sides at all times

I think it might be more than 1/3, to my mind you've got 25% who'll vote each way on constitutional lines with the middle 50% up for grabs

Maybe being pesimistic but would take 2 points from the double header, 3-4 would be great given our results against Edinburgh and Dunfermline's record. I thought we had a Bronze licence but could be wrong, we used to anyway. On the wider point of the thread I think there are plenty of League 1 and even Championship clubs would look at the trapdoor with fear and think, why would we make that more likely? A club like AIrdrie or Hamilton could easily be a couple of bad seasons away from dropping out the league, of course this makes it harder to get back in again if you do drop out.
