The Great Big Kilmarnock Thread
killienick replied to Quitongo's Left Peg's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
They are convinced that wee odd shaped fella they have, (Morelos?), is the best player in the history of football so obviously they'll be paying him accordingly. -

I hate fans of new Rangers more than I hated fans of the old version. -

I'm not sure McKenzie is a winger to be honest. Don't get me wrong, he's played there on many occasions for us but he doesn't really beat people and he doesn't use his pace often enough. He also isn't the best at crossing the ball. When wide, he tends to get lost and cut inside too early rather than stretch the opposition and he doesn't track back well enough for me to protect the full back. He always struck me as a number 10 type player because he tends to get lost if he's used deeper and doesn't know how to drag a midfield up the park, but going through the middle he can score goals or create something. Rory tends to use his pace better through the middle when he doesn't have a static full back to deal with like he would out wide, i.e. when we are counter attacking. For me, his best games for Killie have come when he's more advanced and either playing one inside or as a number 10. When he's good, (which is probably 1 or 2 in 10), he's very good. However, in most games he's not bad, just ineffectual. -

Aye, I saw that. Since you can apparently base the value of players on one performance, I wonder if he'd like his squad valued on their recent 3-2 defeat to bottom of the first division Forfar? -

I spoke with people at the club, they're looking into it but they have to get special dispensation to change the badge so hopefully it comes through. There is precident so no reason why not. -

I'm hoping for a plain Oxford Blue top and my avatar on the chest. We have to do something for our 150th birthday. -

Wow! I read the comic series of this a few years ago and it seemed perfect for TV. The comic was only about 5 issues long but there's so much potential to stretch this out. Can't wait

Yes, and the scene where the soldiers are in the tunnels was very Aliens too. Bloomin great.

Loved the fact that there were so many Alien/Aliens references this series from the shedding skin to the tunnels. Eleven is sporting a Sigourney 'fro and even the Doctor is Burke from Aliens. Top, top notch tele!

Thor: Helgarock is neither good nor shyte. It's just meh.
-
Thor: Ragnarok 6/10 The humour was far too forced for me and very slapstick. Korg was an abomination and was the worst thing in the film by far - the strong regional New Zealand accent was so grating. I'll watch again when it comes to Blu-Ray but I was very disappointed.

Can I change mine to Rangers were good at winning trophies? I think I've got a handle on the game now. -
