  1. That page, and Kickback, are rammed full of bottom feeders. Most of them haven't been back since jj and have no frame of reference aside from what they read on forums. To paraphrase a famous Jedi, they're a hive of scum and villainy.
  2. Planned protest for the Killie v Aberdeen game apparently. Turning our backs to the 'board' at certain points of the game - really wish I'd turned my back the last few times we've played them.
  3. Arrival 8/10 Amy Adams is terrific talking to massive Calamari. Gripping and thought provoking, (though not for the wife who hated it). Lego Batman 5/10 Meh. There are about 4 jokes in the entire film but they get retold loads of different ways. A fun enough way to waste an afternoon but nowhere near as good as I'd hoped. Best line "No, Bruce Wayne lives in Batman's attic".
  4. The Defenders is going to be epic. I really don't like the Iron Fist character from the comics but they seem to have made him more rounded if that trailer is a gauge. I think one of the more interesting things about the Defenders project is which villain they'll choose. The rumour is Mephisto but I'm not sure how a big red demon fits into a universe which has been successful because of it's gritty realism, (discounting the fact that the principal characters have superpowers). Of course, they could just make him look like a regular guy but still be, essentially, The Devil, and that might work. Maybe the whole Mephisto thing will stem from the bloomin big hole in Daredevil S.2 and that series did start to introduce a supernatural element. Also, the MCU Doctor Strange has maybe made this kind of villain more palatable for a TV audience? As @milton75says, I can't wait!
  5. There's a link on the Killie home page to our away kit options for next season and the option to vote for one. Great idea.
  6. He can play centre half or right back. Looked an exciting prospect when he was playing youth games but he never really got the chance at RP. I liked what little I saw of him.
  7. Stokes would be a great signing. I can't see there not being better offers than us though. Is he not going to prison for head-butting an Elvis impersonator?, (Fat American and not Steven).
  8. London has Fallen - 3/10 This film was every bit as good as Gerard Butler's American accent.
  9. I think we got 450k for The Fish with some potential add ons which, of course, he didn't do enough to meet. Still good business though.
  10. Ayrshire boy. Killie fan in his youth. You know deep down he prefers us, just embrace it.
  11. On the goalie front, we appear to be sorted after securing the Engurland under 21 keeper Freddie Woodman on loan. He looked not bad on his debut. Fluking a striker might be more difficult unless Dools wants to come home?
  12. Rumoured to be a couple of hundred grand. He's a great back up keeper for them if true. Allegedly, Gilks is offski and they are looking to replace him.
  13. We don't owe money to any institution. The "loans" we have are effectively unofficial directors soft loans which do not have a repayment schedule - if they are happy to extend those then some the rumoured £1m(ish) for both players could be diverted to buying someone quite easily. What would cost us more in the long run, £300,000 or so for a player or relegation to the inevitable abyss of the championship? Anyway, I don't expect this to happen, I was merely bouncing the idea for discussion. I expect us to either loan a player we've never heard of or find an overweight, out of work, bosman. Good times to be alive.
  14. Agree 100%. Coulibaly looks excellent as part of a highlights package but his all round play isn't great. £1m for a free transfer 6 months down the line is excellent business. I'm surprised there hasn't been much clamour to try and sign Jai Quitongo or someone like that after he destroyed us in the cup. I'm not saying he's better than Stevie May but at least if we could get him for a few hundred thousand, he'd be ours and we wouldn't be trying to find another striker in a few months.
  15. Neither is Souly but they both look pretty certain to leave. Jamie hasn't hid the fact that training times are hard for him for personal reasons and he's wanted away for a while. I don't want him to leave but understand why he feels he needs to.
  16. I heard the Stevie May rumour. I have an Aberdeen pal who is convinced he's heading to them but I can't really see him wanting to compete with an established striker up there.
  17. It's gutting to see Souly and Jamie go. If figures are to be believed though, £1.25m for the pair of them and Jamie has wanted to leave for a while due to training times. Who can we, realistically, get in to replace Souly?
  18. You could argue that Celtic are doing the same for Man City with Patrick Roberts. It's just how football works nowadays, loans are going to be the norm in Scotland now. Some of our fringe players have gone, and will inevitably continue to go, to lower league clubs therefore boosting our youth set-up.
  19. Kristoffer Ajer signed on loan from Celtic apparently. Looks like a great signing.
  20. It'll transpire that he has the same agent as Barr, Connelly, Addison etc, etc. Obviously though, I wish the boy every success. Even if he does have a girls name.
  21. I vote we change the name of this thread to 'how many bloody films has @Christopheseen, and where does he find the time?'.
  22. My wife kept saying that all the way through it. She said that the whole scenario was explained much clearer.
