  1. I did fancy them, but saw some of the QP fans mentioning injuries in the match thread, they've had a couple of draws recently and Peterhead will be desperate for points. ICT, were one of the teams that done the lads coupon last weekend as well, along with Fulham. I still fancy Caley to beat QotS though. Rotherham also look a good shout for the weekend. But just feels so unpredictable this season so far.
  2. I generally prefer the interviews to the actual job. How come? There are always people like this, worked with someone who had on his CV that he could do basically everything and in reality he could do nothing. He ended up getting a contract where I was, fucked something up in the space of a month and was out the door a month later. He's in a new job every 3-6 months, I have no idea how he blags his way through interviews. I always keep at them, so hopefully I have a choice when it's time for a new contract, in the hope one day they bother me less. Probably my anxiety is the real reason behind the feeling.
  3. Having a shocker in the lads coupon (as are the other lads) turning to P&B faithful for some early thoughts on weekend potentials. Everton, Bournemouth, Wigan, ICT and Stirling Albion all looking like good contenders this weekend. Thoughts?
  4. Even to this day interviews still stress me out, despite having to do them a lot as a contractor, I don't know why anyone would put themselves through that. Also, if you turn up acting like you don't give a f**k, it's very easy to tell so won't get offered anyway.
  5. Almost a daily occurrence I'll have a moan in the car about this. It's fucking laziness or not concentrating, I feel the majority of drivers on the road treat driving as a secondary task and something else is occupying their brain at that moment. People often get pissed off at me not listening to them in the car, it's purely because driving deserves 100% focus.
  6. Sunday was a day for c***s on the road. Firstly an older guy in front of me meandering along an albeit short section of national speed limit at 28mph, it's short but come on to f**k. Then placed his car slightly left of centre on a two lane roundabout then indicating last minute to go right (third exit). Fucking can't stand these perpetually slow c***s. Then a red Audi on the M74, with no one in front to pass pulls out in front of me doing less than the speed limit, I flashed to let him go but he was going anyway. Then in the section where it joins the M8 tries to do it again, same scenario there is nothing in front of him, this time I'm too close that I think I'll just pass, he starts just moving over anyway and beeps his horn at me! I fucking hate clowns that think, ah well I'll just move over and you'll need to back off. Creepy looking goatee sporting c**t.
  7. Is that because you can see her boob? Frantic scroll up from me there. Hadn't spotted that!
  8. The Danes are even better at that sort of nonsense than we are. Hard to say if that's reassuring or not lads. Feels like a lot of sense of entitlement in the UK.
  9. Glad to hear it was an easy resolution. I would agree, I've always found the citation letter's to be rather unnecessarily officious.
  10. Still not back in the office, missus back to work and the wean is in nursery.
  11. I wonder if crap like this is posted on people's Facebook pages in other countries, can't imagine this being the kind of patter from the Danish. Maybe just too many easy targets for bots in the UK.
  12. Going to be a right laugh this season with Stone and Sneddon seemingly competing with each other to see who can make the biggest goalkeeping error. Stone's got some way to go to beat that though. Graham is massively frustrating as well tbh, misses far too many good chances.
  13. I've found the sheriff and high courts in Glasgow to be fairly reasonable in terms of excusal requests. I had various reasons for requesting excusal, I think the key thing is for them to realise that you're going to be a risk of not making it through no fault of your own. Which was the case for me. If you're regularly working away at short notice or for long periods of time then I'd say they'd likely to just want someone more reliable. I wouldn't even consider having to pay the fine, I think that would be quite unfair.
  14. A few years ago, there's not a lot on the island at all. Kim's kitchen at the village hall used to do food, unsure if that's still the case. I don't want to put you off but, 5/6 days on Rum could potentially be a bit long. Probably see the whole island in a couple of days.
  15. I think in recent years our record is probably quite favourable. This will be an interesting game, Caley have won every game so far 1-0 and we've scored 3 goals in every game barring the Arbroath game. So McCall's "we'll just have to score more" is probably going to be required. I do really enjoy watching our football right now, first time in ages we actually look quite a threatening side going forward. f**k it, Caley to get their customary goal, Graham x2 and Rudden x2, 3-1 the real Thistle.
  16. A big lassie with a sort of normal sized face. Absolute Tinder nightmare in other words.
  17. I played a fair few game of 5's against Ian Ferguson (Hearts one not Rangers) I was a lot younger and had no idea who he was. It was a keenly contested game particularly between me and him, remember saying to one of my workmates for an older lad he was some footballer. He laughed and was like "aye ex professionals tend to be like that, scored against Bayern before by the way"
  18. Something like working in a care home would be fairly high on my list, the death of old people wouldn't bother me, but watching them suffer the indignity while helping them seems quite sad. But a cancer ward, with kids on it would absolutely crush me. The staff that work there must be like stone.
  19. I've had a chat with Tony Blair in the past. Can't really divulge much more...
  20. Superb timing from our 1yr old yesterday when she pointed at one half of the gay couple next door while shouting "gay!". Fortunately we get on really well with our neighbours and he thought it was hilarious, while confirming to our darling daughter that she was in fact correct. Just to confirm as far as I know she's not a little homophobe, just recently she's putting a lot of effort into words and sounds, has "Dad" and "Daddy" sorted, for some reason she's been practicing a lot of 'G' sounds, which recently became basically shouting "gaaaayyyy" sometimes while pointing at me or the missus. Great. The pointing thing she's always done.
  21. I quite enjoy when other people get irate about it, I also like when people have ridiculous names, you read the email signature and immediately have to share it with a colleague so you can both laugh at it. Got an email from a guy called, Michael Michael Michael and I had a voice conference with him in attendance later on. I joked he should maybe update his signature to Michael 3 (cubed) he responded with "nice one mate, never heard that one" fair response looking back.
