  1. Really enjoying the jpegmafia album.
  2. I was at Jimmy Cliff too, it was such a feel good atmosphere. He can still belt out the classics and his band were awesome.
  3. It is, that's for the deluxe limited edition though. There's a single black vinyl version for around £20 I think.
  4. The Three EP's is being reissued on vinyl at the start of next month.
  5. Give me a shout if you're going to the Beach House gig in Manchester.
  6. My next few gigs - August - Jimmy Cliff September - Bill Ryder Jones October - Beach House November - 808INK
  7. In the past week or so, I've managed to buy 40 cans of the good stuff at my local newsagents. I'm going to try and make them last a while but that probably won't happen.
  8. They are for any instrument that is on the multi track (kick, snare, toms, hi hat, overheads, bass, various guitars, lead and backing vocals, keys, etc.) I'm looking for different compressors, EQ's, limiters, de-essers, reverbs.
  9. Cheers man, I've looked at the Izotope ones but they're a bit pricey.
  10. Mainly multi track mixing, I've just finished my first year of the BSc Audio Engineering course. I've had Pro Tools since September and it's only now that I'm getting to grips with it (the shortcuts are very handy). I've recently acquired the Slate plug-in package and I was wondering if anyone could recommend any other plug-ins.
  11. Are there any Pro Tools users on here?
  12. From what I've read, it appears that they are only considering a revision of the schedule of the drug, not its classification. There will be strict regulations in place and it will only be available on prescription for patients who require it. It's a step in the right direction for people who have been denied vital medicine due to its legal status. As we have seen in America, medical legalisation has led to recreational legalisation at a state level in many parts of the country so there is hope for change over here. Having said that, I can't see it happening any time soon unfortunately.
  13. More to the point, why has she wrapped toilet roll round her feet?
  14. I climbed my first munro today, Mount Keen. It was tougher than I thought it would be, the heat was a killer on the way up. The walk down was great though.
  15. I agree with all of this, I fucking hate the summer. It has no redeeming qualities. I would also add gardening to that list. We rent and part of the tenancy agreement is to make sure the grass is cut and the path is free of weeds. Cut grass is my kryptonite, my hayfever symptoms are much worse the day after I have cut the grass, hence why I try and do it as infrequently as I can get away with. To make matters worse, my next door neighbour is always out in his garden. On the one hand, my garden makes his look even better but on the other hand I feel guilty that they have to put up with weeds poking through from our side of the fence. This could easily be put down to lazyness on my part but the truth is, I would spend more time taking care of the weeds and cutting the grass but I will suffer for it big time the next day. Also, I get annoyed by people saying "This is beautiful weather isn't it?" No, it's fucking horrendous weather. I'm counting down to autumn already. If only it was possible to hibernate from late April to late August.
  16. Voyagers is a favourite of mine, it's just over the road from Centraal Station. The weed is consistantly good and the prices aren't too crazy. I'm a big fan of their Lemon Bubble. Another go to coffeeshop for me is Utopia (on the street behind the palace on Dam square). The shop has recently been taken over by 'the plug' which is a coffeeshop style set up from Barcelona. Anyway, the menu looks rather good, stay clear of the american strains though, no weed is worth 30 euros a gram. f**k that. It's in the wrong direction of where you are going but 1e Hulp is rather good too. I had some of their strawberry banana hash last month and it was top quality.
  17. I really enjoyed Cobra Kai, the references to the original were well done, even down to little things like playing the same song when they went to Golf 'n' Stuff. I won't spoil anything but season 2 will be very interesting.
  18. The new Black Moth Super Rainbow album arrived yesterday. Well pleased with it.
  19. New Black Moth Super Rainbow. Very much looking forward to receiving the vinyl. This album will probably be in my top ten of this year.
  20. Nice one man, I'm glad you had a great night. Gomez at the Barrowlands is next on the gig calendar for me, followed by FOCUS Wales festival in Wrexham in May.
  21. I don't post much in this thread but I read it most days. To the guy who has numerous accounts on here (zicoromaines, steakngravy et al), give it a rest please. This whole talking to yourself via alias accounts thing is not funny or clever, just rather tedious. Thanks in advance
  22. I have two standing tickets for Public Service Broadcasting at the Usher Hall for next Saturday (14/4) but I am not going to make it. I'll give them away free to a music forum regular who genuinely wants to go (not just interested in trying to sell them on). PM me.
