  1. What is Ritchie thinking there? Game over.
  2. Edinburgh don't look like they have a clue what they are actually trying to do here. It's a bit like Glasgow last season, all so slow and aimless, no guile whatsoever.
  3. This is what I mean, these guys who are brilliant for Scotland are dreadful when they play for Edinburgh, completely different players. There's a complete disaster for Graham now that will likely cost a try and probably finish the game.
  4. Bloody hell, Edinburgh completely losing the plot here.
  5. That is world class foot shooting.
  6. Fucking hell, what a try to lose. Absolute nightmare from Pyrgos then Duhan.
  7. All the English teams are quite overrated I think. It's why you get all these superstars falling flat on their face when they get called up to the international teams.
  8. Yeah, they are considerably less than the sum of their parts. A lot of these guys look so much better for Scotland. Different player better.
  9. I tihnk you need to use the binoculars? Did you equip the binoculars first? Sure you press down on the D pad.
  10. Yeah, not got a good feeling for this one at all. If Livi score first we are probably fucked.
  11. Yeah, Exeter definitely seem to be in some kind of trouble and Hogg probably hasn't played enough to justify his wages. I take it the URC/Prem, etc won't kick off next season until the WC is underway? Wonder if Hogg will actually play for Exeter again?
  12. I think his performances are underrated a bit in all honesty. His kicking from hand and his defensive abilities were pretty important to Scotland, even if the searing line breaks weren't as common as they once were. That boot of his in particular where he could hammer the ball back 70 meters was a great weapon at times. To be honest, I don't think he's been fully fit for a while either, in fact he kind of suggests that in his statement. You have to remember that despite only being 30, he's been playing top level rugby for a long time. It's going to take it's toll. He was a guy that was pretty cynically targeted at times as well.
  13. Hoggy retiring feels like the end of an era. Definitely in the conversation as one of Scotland's greatest players of the professional era. It felt like this was coming tbf. He seems injured a lot, he's lost a bit of pace, and Kinghorn is starting to look like living up to his potential. Still, a big player to lose and I think his importance to the team will become more evident after he's gone.
  14. Missed the game, but that is some result. Looked a pretty strong Munster team as well.
  15. The B&WA thickos being taken in by this guy is the least surprising thing I've ever seen. Most of those guys have made such c***s of themselves over the years that they now actively hate the club and want us to fail so they'll be proved right about some stupid comment they made 4 years ago.
  16. Jamie Dobie starting on the wing? Is this something that's been happening that I've missed?
  17. I'd love to say I'm surprised at the amount of fans who think a charity is part of a shady conspiracy to steal all the club's money, yet also think a Ponzi scheme running pound shop Andrew Tait is "worth having a chat with", but I'm really, really not.
  18. I genuinely don't think that would be allowed to happen. Maybe no Welsh at a push, but an English player would have to be picked. Probably Freddie Steward even though he's pretty shite, or Itoje despite being honking for a couple of seasons now.
  19. Is there any consequence to a reduced membership to the club? I guess now the takeover is complete the money we are putting in each week is helpful to the club but not necessary for survival, is that the case? I guess I'm not alone in being pretty uncomfortable with these people having control over money I put in in good faith that it will be used for the benefit of St Mirren rather than the massage of a few egos. Maybe I don't know the full story, but the way these guys seemed to bully their way onto the board, drive people out and let's be honest, spread lies and disinformation about the club, kibble and several individuals using anonymous social media accounts was pretty disgusting. If they at least seemed to be backing up some of the promises of better times then fair enough, but it's just got worse and to me it seems like these guys are now actually driving away the "normal" fans that they claimed to be championing against the old board.
  20. Quite interesting that all the loud demands for transparency and statements have stopped all of a sudden.
  21. Yes, whilst I have no problem with Scotland bringing in SQ players, you do have to look at what's going on with producing players here. They look massively underdeveloped compared to everyone else, and most of them have played absolutely no pro rugby. I also wonder if all this team GB bollocks with the 7s has closed another pathway. Also, rugby is obviously a very distant second to football in this country, but there are plenty of big, reasonably skillful boys dropping out of the football system each year, guys who've probably had better professional development than some of the rugby players in the early years. Are we doing anything to try and pick these guys up and bring them into the sport?
  22. I thought Ireland were pretty crap tbh and were bailed out big time by a ref who had decided they were winning beforehand and called the game accordingly. The truth is, the ref is by far the most important man on the pitch in rugby, that's why teams employ referee coaches and Nigel Owens is being paid a lot by South Africa to get them ready for the world cup. No amount of whining from the wee'est guys is going to change that.
  23. Ok, safe to support France then.
  24. Yeah, what a start, they've been brilliant. Should be a yellow to France there as well.
