  1. I thought he was particularly good in the second half. First, I think he was just trying to get through it, nothing flash, but neat and tidy and no mistakes, but second he was far more influential and took control of the midfield properly. I would not be against a midfeild 3 of him, Baccus and O'Hara, I don't think anyone would like playing against that, but would mean one of the front men has to drop.
  2. It was a weird game, probably about as easy as a 1-0 can get, but because the goal was late, it was more nervy than it needed to be. In the end though, we scored, should have scored more, and were never really threatened at the other end. Job done is really all you can say.
  3. Maybe, just for context though, in the last two seasons we've lost to Arbroath at home, Montrose and Airdrie away, struggled against Cowdenbeath twice and struggled against Dundee, needing penalties to go through in a game we probably deserved to lose. If I was a QoS fan I wouldn't be writing this off at all.
  4. We've not exactly got a great track record when it comes to blowing away lower league opposition in the cups, no reason to expect this will be any different. I expect a difficult, scrappy game, with 1 goal either way deciding it.
  5. Aye, all because he had some weird chip on his shoulder because he wasn't treated like the returning hero in the first game. Glasgow punters were apparently more interested in seeing Thier team win than massaging his ego.
  6. Carley there, missed multiple late hits, loads of niggle but right on top of the guy dropping the ball the wrong way for a lineout. Getting the big decisions right.
  7. It's amazing how hated he is now. Seems like an absolute w**k of a guy.
  8. Well played Matthews, was in about everything there.
  9. Another shite, pointless kick kills the chance.
  10. Shite, all because Jones decided on a ridiculous kick in midfeild when we were going forward.
  11. Some worry half time reading....
  12. Turner can't be throwing like this in the 6N.
  13. Carley classic, refuses to give a blatant knock on, then gives a penalty to make up for it.
  14. That's another late hit. Three at least now, none punished, though he's suggesting they maybe stop it.
  15. Agreed. Can see a card coming as someone is going to overstep the mark with all the niggle the ref is allowing.
  16. I thought that was a penalty.
  17. Sometimes Glasgow seem to be so desperate to move fast they don't finish what they have to do first. Both that turnover and the missed tackles there were guys just not seeing the job done.
  18. To be honest, I think Carley would have let it stand, it was the TMO. To be fair, I think it was probably right
  19. Gagging to disallow this.
  20. Not a great start from Glasgow. Look overawed, trying to overplay all the time. First lineout always seemed like it was going to be a disaster as Turner clearly had no clue what was happening. Need to calm down and start playing.
  21. Every one of those guys screams Robbo signing, each in different ways
  22. Well, we always have Sean Maitland, but it seems no chance of that now. Still think he could do a job,
  23. I actually think Redpath is in, I think he's starting. He's playing really well and he's pretty solid as well. I think Sione will play 13, which gives us three decent distributors/kickers in the midfield and three really dangerous runners in the back 3. I think it's a decent balance. All the problems I can see are up front. I think it's as weak a selection of forwards as we've had in a while.
  24. I think it's harsh for Harris to be dropped as well, but Hutchison, Sione, Redpath, McDowell and Jones playing so well right now and you have to reward that I think. Hamish Watson being out altogether a bigger shock for me, especially with injury concerns about Darge. Is Watson injured?
