  1. I'm sure marmite and vegemite are the same just called vegemite for the aussies for some reason. Eggplant is good if you heat up some canola oil and fry some scallions before adding eggplant and zucchini, then garnish with chopped cilantro. Wooooooh. Other variants like these boys. Try to avoid the ones with nematodes.
  2. 1995 shouldn't even be up for debate. The rules were set out at the start of the season and we comfortably beat Dunfermline 6-2 on aggregate. 2000 is slightly more shaky but only slightly. 2 of three teams in the playoffs were to be in the premier. Falkirk cheated and were rightly denied a playoff place. The only debate is whether the 4th place team (st mirren if i remember right) should have got it instead. The rule was 2nd and 3rd qualified. The stadium criteria didn't affect division 1 placings, so st Mirren didn't qualify for the playoffs. So it looks like the only decision that could be made was made. Even if 4th had been unjustly awarded the playoff spot it was only a remote possibility that the Dons would finish third. So what happened in 2000 is the dons weren't incorrectly exposed to a minor risk of relegation . Not very banterrific.
  3. Bad call, i have a luscious head of hair. In fact there's so much it's started coming out of my ears and nose. I don't want to be mean to you because i think you might be like properly slow.
  4. Fray bentos and the little sausages that you get in beans.
  5. Sound plan. My kids watched it and they're cheeky wee shites.
  6. Not having an Autumn one this year. Rumour is that Capital Gains tax rates will be aligned with Income Tax. Thought you'd be more interested in the match.
  7. That's Roots Manuva's Witness and the Chemical Brothers' Go now forever tainted by being used to sell some product or service. Thanks advert c***s.
  8. I was with you up until microwaving your popcorn. It makes it go squeaky on the teeth.
  9. Appears The trial of the chicago 7. Courtroom drama centred on some vietnam protests in the late 60s. Unusually for a court thing, very entertaining. Pacey, colourful characters and decent performances. I looked into the true story after watching and it appears that a lot of it was actually toned down for the film. There's one bit in particular that i thought "no way that happened" but was apparently far worse in real life They actually missed out a lot of stuff that would have been more entertaining than what made the cut. It probably would have been difficult to make a coherent plot with the levels of actual chaos being depicted in full. They've chosen a thread to follow and gone with it so it would be difficult to criticise their choice. Overall well worth a watch. As a film for entertainment it's a solid 7.
  10. Anyone holding out for a woman without any behaviour that won't bug the shit out of you after several years will be waiting a long, long time.
  11. Remembrance is a very big word and can be quite difficult for thickos to read.
  12. He's behind McLennan and Kennedy in the queue to get back in. Don't see hedges or wright getting dropped. No idea how he'd do at wingback to be honest. I think he'd do ok defensively but might lack the legs to bomb up and down for the whole game.
  13. I loved Father Ted and still watch repeats regularly but that went over my head.
  14. REMs last good album imo. Gave this a listen about a year ago and was surprised by the number of songs i'd forgotten about but still knew the words to.
  15. Agree that this is another huge game against hibs. It just feels really hard to get excited about it. I guess it's an anticlimax from the semi. We have got a really good squad for atracking but with Hayes out it feels threadbare at full back/ wing back. We finished against Celtic with a back 4 and i wouldn't be astonished if we started like that, maybe with Logan or the mythical Hernandez at rb. I'd prefer we went with wingbacks but there's not an obvious left one.
  16. People who dislike fireworks are a bit peculiar. Probably don't have a telly either.
  17. "As part of the revised scheme, anyone made redundant after 23 September can be rehired and put back on furlough."
