  1. I'm sure Boris's assurances are based on a solid understanding of the facts and he's not just winging it and hoping for the best.
  2. If you watch BBC breakfast and The One Show you lose all rights to complain about anything. It's not like a trailer for strictly is crowding out anything worthwhile. 5 minutes less for sportscunt to try waterrugby or some shite, or some hard hitting investigative reporting to reveal there's sugar in sweets.
  3. Kung fu assault, pfft! Chris Sutton said there was nothing wrong with it and he's a paid expert. But it does look like the cro magnon has decided Derek’s selection dilemma up front. I don't expect hibs will be as subdued as last time for some reason. We need a good performance
  4. I've had De La Soul's Bulhoone Mindstate in the car for a couple of months now. Probably half the tracks are absolute class and there are no real duffers. Because it was so unfashionable at the time it doesn't sound too dated like some other stuff from almost thirty years ago.
  5. https://interactive.aljazeera.com/aje/live-results-us-election-day-2020/index.html?utm_campaign=mapwidget&utm_medium=internal&utm_source=aljazeera Aljazeera cartogram showing the republicans have won already. They're through to the gold run.
  6. I came on here to see if i could find out what was going on because the bbc was impenetrable. Aljazeera next i think.
  7. It's an oldish book, isn't it? He can probably see through the ground with radioactive lasers and stuff now.
  8. I like that approach in a prehistorian. Will read.
  9. Does he have a view on whether/ how brochs were roofed?
  10. The league game against Celtic before Cosgrove came on we were doing that thing again where there were 4 or 5 players exchanging short passes at the side of the 18 yard box with only a single body in the box, just sort of wandering about. Cosgrove gives a target for crosses and makes disruptive runs. He probably missed more chances against celtic than we had total shots in some games. But a missed chance is closer to scoring than not shooting.
  11. I drive really fast, so because of general relativity i'm actually a year older than i am.
  12. Presumably the difference is price? Anything with wedding in the name is double normal prices. I really can't be bothered. Can i just take your word for it that it doesn't cast him in a good light? Please? I trust your judgement.
  13. To the limited extent i understand that, it depends what you're trying to rate. If you want a really skilful lazy git who gets by on scoring every couple of games from half chances, then your system rates that highly. Hence Stokes. If you want a workmanlike striker that only scores one in 20 of 10 half chances a game because they're always challenging crosses etc then they'll be rated as shite, despite scoring the same number of goals and probably being more help the team. Not saying your ratings are wrong. Just saying that there's a value judgement in there about what constitutes a good striker. Example- Aberdeen 18-19. No way was James Wilson a much better striker than Stevie May in my opinion.
  14. Insists on watching the Graham Norton show then complains that each and every anecdote is shit. Yep, that's why i didn't want to watch it, like the last hundred or so times.
  15. By using this xg are you not under rating strikers who continually get in good positions and play the percentages compared to those that score the odd worldy?
  16. Certainly where the complaints are about tidyness or cleanliness. I have no trouble following the plot of a film or leaving on time though.
  17. Master Z Spin off from the Ip Man series featuring a previously defeated rival as the good guy. There's absolutely nothing innovative about it at all, pretty much Hong Kong Martial Arts by numbers. But it is really good at everything. All the characters fit into their allocated stereotype with the volume at 11. The baddies are proper OTT dicks. Some of the visuals and wire work are top class. I loved the fight on the bar signs, up there with any other kung fu set pieces i've seen. Definitely benefits from dropping the air of reverence for the main character that made the later ip man films a bit po faced. Great fun. Like all of the Ip man films it does have a bit of a xenophobic undertone. I guess that goes down a treat in china. Saying that, i'm not chinese and i hate the colonial brits in these. Solid 8 from me.
  18. Respectfully disagree. He's not match sharp but he's ace.
  19. Last seen by your lot at the battle of the catalunian plains.
  20. All this talk of sausages is making me want to give my fifteen litre dick a good squeeze.
  21. It's ok, the plans to have freeports will save us. It worked for Delos so it will work for us. We should feel grateful to have a government that's so frightfully well educated in all things classical. After all, Delos was also part of integrated Just In Time manufactuing supply chains for autoparts and semiconductors. The best bit is they should be in place by the end of 2021, so the manufacturers only have to stay in business for one year while being unable to compete.
