  1. Does nobody in the SNP stop and think about what they are saying. It seems obvious to me they are going to end up having to row back when Scotland becomes an outlier. Northern Ireland talking about removing restrictions as soon as possible and it wouldn’t surprise me if even Wales does within the next few weeks given their numbers.
  2. It seems plenty of other countries are now having the “adult conversation” we were once promised.
  3. I have nothing new to add other than what I have been saying all season. A proper manager urgently required.
  4. Whilst I agree with the sentiment, I think as other countries start to remove mandatory masks by the middle of the year, Scotland will quickly become an outlier, leaving her with little choice. Going to guess Northern Ireland will move next out of the UK. The fact the opposition seem more willing to challenge her now will also help.
  5. If and I say if that is genuine, it blows the theory Cabinet meet on a Tuesday morning to make decisions out of the water.
  6. I notice one member of the cult has replied on twitter to that article with the incomplete Financial Times graph from last week
  7. Seen some tweets trying to guilt trip people into still voting for the SNP because they “aren’t Tories.” So basically the SNP will always have a free pass under this line of thinking.
  8. I am unlikely to vote for the SNP again. Everything from refusing to remove all restrictions in the summer to just the general tone in which they speak to the public has caused irreversible damage as far as I am concerned. The political decisions on Covid have been by far the most important to me in my lifetime and I don’t think I will be able to forget what I have seen.
  9. Same thing happened to me. Told her I would get my backup paper copy out but she seemed more interested in adding to her tally and just waved me through.
  10. The SG using rising cases on the continent as justification for considering further restrictions here Have they not noticed we are rolling out what appears to be a very successful booster programme and have already had a big Delta outbreak unlike in a lot of European countries.
  11. Depends what you mean by working. Death rates in Scotland have been generally higher than England for months now.
  12. It is an interesting one because we clearly sell well over 10k tickets for every game and usually announce the crowd as 13-15k however that attendance figure is based on tickets sold rather than actual numbers present. Thousands of season ticket holders have not been turning up this season. 800 is also about the average amount Hibs and Hearts have been bringing in recent seasons however with both teams doing well, I am sure the club are aware they are likely to come close to selling out their 1700 allocation.
  13. Even something as simple as calling track and trace test and protect. Embarrassing.
  14. Just the latest example of Scotland being closed for business under this authoritarian SNP government.
  15. I am not going to lie, the whole handling of this pandemic has put me right off the idea of independence.
  16. When I say 3rd minimum, I don’t mean we should be finishing higher than that, more I would hope to be doing better than getting knocked out of cups by lower league opposition.
  17. If we allow one of the Edinburgh clubs to get 3rd and potential group stages it will be a disappointment.
  18. I said before the season started my instinct was Glass was out of his depth and I have seen nothing to change my mind. For me, 3rd is the minimum this season with the wages we are paying. If we had qualified for Europe or won a cup, more leeway would likely have been given league wise but the Raith result in particular has put him under a lot of pressure already.
  19. As far as I am concerned, the vaccine passports are distracting from the Scottish Government completely mishandling the reopening in their usual fashion of attempting to be seen as more caring than the UK Government. I would have removed all legal restrictions at the start of the school summer holidays with the obvious advice to keep following basic hygiene measures. Instead we had the 9th August reopening a week before the schools went back and only a few weeks before universities. I think this would have allowed the exit wave to subside before a further spike, leading to less pressure on hospitals at one time.
  20. Surely would have to be in parliament for any changes?
  21. Personally I think we have a slim chance of turning it around. I thought before the game last night we couldn’t afford to go behind against an experienced team in Europe. I live in hope though.
