  1. https://shesahomewrecker.com/nicola-wilson-edinburgh-scotland/ Also, a woman from Alness turns up three times!
  2. Only post in one section, on one topic on Pie and Bovril and never post in the football section.
  3. Strangers who sit next to you on public transport and start talking to you.
  4. 1. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the much maligned Lionel Djebi-Zadi was nowhere near as bad as folk made out. When he was bad, he was horrendous, but he wasn't bad every week. Perhaps had we played him at left wing he might've become decent. 2. Nat Wedderburn was also nowhere near as bad as some of our fans like to think he was. He was probably though too slow for the Premiership. 3. Marius Niculae was overrated. 4. The Caley Stadium is a dump and is a major reason the club haven't attracted and retained fans. Who'd want to sit in a really open stadium, far from the pitch in an exposed location in the depths of winter? 5. Jake Mulraney was absolutely garbage for us 90% of the time and how he got a move to Hearts is unbelievable.
  5. I was at the game. Of the regular first team players, Brad Mckay was really poor and Trafford started poorly but improved as the game went on. David Carson was absolutely dire and I wonder if we've signed a dud here.
  6. I think it's particularly weird when fans use players first names (when they both don't them personally) when just discussing football in general. "Thought Tony had a great game today." "Yeah but Michael was rubbish." "Thought that was a great goal by Randy."
  7. I didn't head down to the game today, but may I wish my best wishes to Ayr United and what sounded like a brush with death. If Caley Thistle are as physical as they claim, I'm sure tomorrow every hospital in Ayrshire will be busy sewing up gashes, reattaching limbs and mending battered egos.
  8. If you're going to call me something, call me something accurate. "My mortal enemy" will suffice.
  9. I hate being called mate or pal or buddy. I'm not your mate, pal or buddy.
  10. I wonder if there'd be the mobility and numbers for a fan takeover? Tbh I rather doubt it.
  11. I saw a Dr Phil clip the other day about a woman in her 60s who was dating a guy in his 20s. She went by the name 'Pie'. Her real name was Pumpkinpie.
  12. It's J as in Jay Leno. Not J as in Jai Quitongo. Pronouncing H as 'haitch' is the calling card of a moron.
  13. Football fans who refer to players of the team they support (and they don’t know personally) by their first names. “Come on Dave!”, “Great pass Bradley!”, “Thought Rusty had a great game today”.
  14. I still like to use ‘zounds’ personally.
  15. For someone who gets so terribly upset about abuse, she spends a heck of a lot of time feeding the trolls (Godley I mean).
  16. Fans of Michael Jackson - I've met a few who've seemed normal enough (though often slightly eccentric) but as soon as they hear his name mentioned they become different people. It's like they're in a cult. Of course, since that documentary came out they've become even more radicalised. They also have a bad habit of only referring to him as 'Michael', despite not knowing him personally.
  17. Fair enough. I just always thought he never wanted to take the step up rather than him not being good enough. I think when he was at Brechin, he expressed an interest in trying full time football. He must've started his trade towards the end of his time there as he signed for Peterhead despite interest from a few clubs (Aberdeen, Sheffield United and Charlton amongst others).
  18. "Supporting" a football club that you've never seen play in the flesh. There's a guy in Inverness who is apparently a massive Hibee and whose car is decked out in loads of Hibs stuff. He's never seen them play.
  19. That was after he’d left us. He’d be a professional, full time player with us and it was only after he’d gone into the lower leagues that he decided to stay at that level.
  20. Rory McAllister could've made it in the SPL. What killed him at that level was the stupid three U21 players in the matchday rule at that time. While he was scoring a barrowload in the reserve league, he couldn't make the step up to the SPL (though there were occasional flashes of a good player). Had that rule not been there, he probably would've been loaned out to an SFL club and it could've done him a lot of good. Certainly would've done him better than playing in the reserve league and then a couple of minutes at the end of the first team game every week.
  21. Their hearts might be in it, but a desire to get really involved makes me wary of them. We do have some fans who seem to stalk the players though. A few years back, one had to be sent a letter from Caley Thistle telling them to back off.
