  1. The womens teams played against each other in a friendly earlier this year.
  2. Just checked that a few minutes ago and it seems like they are.
  3. The actual link is on the Ukrainian FA page I think but it will likely be blocked here https://en.uaf.ua/article/46407
  4. The Ukrainian FA site suggests it wont be watchable outside Ukraine but not sure. There's a few different official Ukranian sites though so if its on elsewhere I'll post it here.
  5. That just doesn't seem logical to me. That would be a ludicrous gamble by the US/UK/Ukraine and the end of NATO if ever proven. The US would risk giving up their grip on Europe just so they can sell some more LNG?
  6. Do you believe the US did this unilaterally or with the involvement of NATO/EU?
  7. It came out in the news a year or so ago around the peak of the UEFA & FIFA bitching. FIFA were pushing for an expanded Club World Cup, more frequent World Cups and also a World Nations League. UEFA weren't willing to risk losing income in the UCL, Euro's & NL, and also didn't want the football calendar affected with more frequent World Cups. To take control of the situation, and get back at FIFA, UEFA pushed for closer ties with CONMEBOL including the introduction of the Finalissima match and a discussion of a joint UEFA/CONMEBOL nations league. It'll only take place in Europe if it gets the go ahead.
  8. Fraser on the left. Jack and Gallagher on the right
  9. Could be raining during the game as well according to the forecast. Doesn't look that bad in the video though.
  10. According to Ukraine the pitch isn't in great condition. They're squad is training elsewhere. Not sure if Scotland will do the same (although it might be mandated that the away team get an opportunity to train on the pitch the day before). I think its worth saying as well that this isn't the same stadium which Ukraine played their previous home games. They played in Lodz for the last two. This is in Krakow.
  11. If we're 4th best in League B, I wouldn't feel great relying on two out of Norway, Israel or B&H finishing in the top 2 of their groups. Although it depends on the draw I guess.
  12. Not necessarily. There's been several occasions previously where Scotland games haven't been geoblocked by the oppositions host broadcaster. It's also possible they're doing it intentionally to allow Ukrainian refugees to watch from elsewhere.
  13. The Ukranian broadcaster (and the Ukrainian FA) might be covering it on their YouTube channels. Not 100% though. Apparently they covered our previous game against Ukraine. Ukraine broadcaster: Ukraine FA channel: https://youtube.com/user/OfficialUkraineFA
  14. So if we draw in Ukraine and Armenia beat Ireland we'd have a home playoff game, right? We'd be on 9, Israel 8 and B&H couldn't get any higher than 8. Alternatively we draw in Ukraine, Slovenia draw/win in Sweden, Norway draw with Serbia, Finland draw/lose vs Montenegro & Romania beat B&H. I believe we'd finish above B&H on goals scored in that scenario (high scoring narrow defeat for B&H could put them above us). Yeah....so it's likely a win is our only hope of being seeded. Edit: in the first scenario I don't think we'd even need the Slovenia vs Sweden result to go our way. Removed it now
  15. Why are they still talking about the handball? It was fucking obvious in the replay.
  16. I've not given up on a home playoff game (with us taking 4pts from the last two) tbh. Still just about possible I think. Come on Albania and whatever combination of results we need from the Norway/Serbia/Slovenia/Sweden mess.
  17. They won't get many chances as good as that
  18. I've got a feeling Ukraine will struggle against Armenia. I dont know if they'll drop points but a draw/narrow win wouldn't surprise me. Judging from what their manager said after the game last night Ukraine are not a team full of confidence right now. For a manager to publicly call out his team for how they were training and imply that the result was inevitable, you'd have to think this is looking like more than just a one game blip. No Zinchenko or Zabarnyi will be hurting them a lot too. They called up a new CB last night so presumably Zabarnyi is out of the squad completely? From what I remember of the first game between them, Ukraine had total control of possesion/territory but Armenia were getting into decent positions on the break a few times without getting enough players forward to support. A decent home crowd, in a game important for them too, and the Armenia players should be right up for it.
  19. Verstappen will be directly behind Leclerc within a couple of laps max(assuming he's starting 4th) and ahead after the first pit stop at the latest as well. Verstappen was as fast on the mediums in the free practice long runs as Leclerc was on the softs. If theres no safety cars/red flags, he'll disappear into the distance again. There's nobody to compete with him just now, especially in that car.
  20. You can tell Ferrari tried to fix communication issues with their drivers during the summer break? "Question?"
  21. Max is still the bookies favorite to win. He's starting 15th...
  22. Heard her voice on the Breaking Bad insider podcast a few years ago and was confused as f**k. Will need to give a listen to the last BCS insider pod.
  23. Espositio and Gilligan said something about the possibility of a mini series but they weren't talking in terms of absolute certainties. They don't seem put off by mentions of keeping it going though. Perhaps partly due to the $$$. Gus is probably the only one who could pull it off and not have the time/age gap be a significant factor imo.
