    Seeing as we struggle to post highlights of the first team's games, I'm not holding out much hope that we'll see highlights of this game.

    I did the shorter route on the Tour of the Borders yesterday in some pretty horrible wind and rain although it did dry up for the second half. It was my first of these closed road rides and thought it was very well run. I really enjoyed it and hope to do it again next year, hopefully with a better outcome on the Wall of Talla - that was horrific!

    I've not been to one of these - do people expect presents when the baby is born AND when they tell you beforehand what it's going to come out as?

    60' was light, 70' or 80' was heavy although 80' was a lot better. McEwan's 80 bob was a lovely pint in the right pub. 90 shilling I believe is pretty much McEwan's No.1 or Champion Ale and is also lovely. I've never heard of anyone buying Heavy tops although I did start my beer drinking journey in pubs on lager tops. Anyway, times change and I'm enjoying a really nice Street Life Pale Ale.

    So we've not got Rangers and Celtic at home a few days apart - oh joy! I have realised now that the Celtic game is in the middle of the school holiday week so I'll get to see one pumping.

    The fact that he hasn't so far is what is giving me hope and has me checking my phone every five minutes.

    I saw him arguing with the ref at full time and thought he would like a bit silly if he moaned about the ref in the media. The penalty for the fourth goal was a terrible decision but it has to be taken into context - it was the fourth goal!

    No doubt we'll have some horrendous decisions against us this season. I'm sure we'll all take it really well and just say that makes up for .....[emoji1]

    Annan v Aberdeen has gone to extra time but they're only going for updates - I assume they don't have the rights to provide commentary?

    Up until recently I would have agreed with you but I think the introduction of Peter Grant has brought us a new winner.

    They could and it would have the potential to be great. The fear is that the following week Moult would be injured and Van Veen suspended and we'd have Shields and Efford up front instead.

    My memory of Aarons is he's fast and tricky but his shooting/final ball was pretty dreadful. Hopefully he's improved on that but if they're willing to loan him out then I guess not.

    Avalanche from Fyne Ales with a Vital Spark to follow. Can't make up my mind which one of these two is my favourite from their mixed box.

    Hopstravaganza Hazy IPA from the White Hag Brewery in Ireland. Very tasty and quite sweet. Packs a punch at 6.8%.

    PMA Pale Ale from Moor Beer Co. in Bristol. A bit more body to it than my last few, alright I suppose.

    Sly Fox Haze Fix IPA from Pennsylvania. Lovely IPA with just the right amount of bitterness.

    I don't really know what to expect in this game but I'm looking at 9 points as having us about a quarter of the way to safety and hopefully another 3 points would see us pretty much a third of the way there.

    My take from the Liam Kelly interview was that Rylan seemed surprised that Gerry Hamilton actually appeared to be someone's real name. Maybe people from Essex think of the musical rather than a crappy football team or a night at the Palace when they hear Hamilton.
