  1. A lot of good examples there but I can sort of accept they're changing captions all the time and mistakes can happen. The debate about calling Ryan Fraser up to the England squad is something else though.
  2. You didn't see our match threads for our recent games against St. Johnstone, Hibs or Aberdeen then.
  3. Wordle 287 2/6* [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] A few 2's around today it seems. Much better than my attempt yesterday.
  4. I play it in hard mode which doesn't allow mistakes but that's more to stop me being a numpty and accidentally forgetting to use correct letters. I hadn't thought of the advantages of deliberately just going for a word to narrow down the choices.
  5. Wordle 286 6/6* [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833] [emoji833] [emoji833] Aargh, it's one of those ones today. Really thought I was going to start the month with a fail.
  6. I appear to be alone in thinking there might be a market for this in the far East.
  7. Wordle 285 6/6* [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833] Not a great end to the month! Only my second 6, was starting to sweat a bit.
  8. Wordle 284 5/6* [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833] [emoji833] Ouch.
  9. Wordle 283 3/6* [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833] All over in jig time this morning.
  10. I used to see them walking around when I went to Coatbridge in my school holidays. I think they'd long retired but they still dressed up in full tartan nonsense and ridiculous make-up just for going round the shops. Thankfully I never saw them go for a pish.
  11. That's a bit of a novelty show. I thought they were better known for their singing [emoji6]
  12. I remember the good old days when international breaks meant discussions on favourite goals and things like that.
  13. Wordle 282 4/6* [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] I've never had no correct letters from the first two guesses before! Looks like it did me a favour by eliminating a lot of options.
  14. Well done but I'm intrigued how your mind jumped to that word with only one letter! I have to admit to sometimes just taking a flier with no rhyme or reason though.
  15. It's also incredibly easy with the same apps and mobile banking to have a joint account which you both pay an agreed amount into for bills. Just seems a matter of preference to me.
  16. Wordle 281 4/6* [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833] Well, that was a bit nasty. For a long long time the only word I could think of after my third guess was in French [emoji848]
  17. I had that a few weeks ago and really liked it.
  18. Wordle 280 4/6* [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] Bit of a nightmare. Like a few others I couldn't think of any viable word for my fourth guess using the fairly crappy selection of letters I had left. I don't know why, the answer is something that gets mentioned at my work fairly regularly. [emoji848]
  19. I had a bottle of this French organic beer when out for my dinner last night. Absolutely delicious.
  20. Wordle 279 4/6* [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833][emoji833] [emoji833][emoji833]
  21. I was wondering whether jokes about making them watch Hibs would be inappropriate or just shite. Thankfully, you beat me to it. [emoji1]
  22. You're not taking the thread back to chat about Grangemouth are you?
  23. I've noticed some of the scores have a * after them (including mine). Does anybody know what this represents?
