  1. Decided to start on my Christmas haul tonight. 10yo Hazelburn from Springbank stands out but I've started on the Tullibardine Sovereign - better than I expected, quite sweet and smooth. Eta: seeing as I'm a part owner of the club and Tullibardine are Motherwell's official whisky supplier, I feel contractually obliged to say this is wonderful, like all their whisky.
  2. I went out a few days ago onto the road leading to the main road. I caught up with someone who I thought was going really slowly but it was because the guy in front of him was driving erratically - slowly and weaving across the middle of the road. The guy in front of me overtook him (was lucky as he swerved across the middle of the road) but I held back as was a liability. He must have been steaming (it was midmorning) or taking a bad turn (giving him the benefit of the doubt), drove in to the kerb at the side of the road when he got to the T-junction. Fortunately I was going in the other direction.
  3. Watched Daddy's Home 2 last night - a great Christmas romp. Encanto tonight was fine, fairly average Disney fayre.
  4. No-one else drinking tonight? I'm now on Paulaner Oktoberfest, actually tastes very similar to Tyskie.
  5. This thread too a strange turn [emoji53]. Who was that? Does he regularly light up the Livi forum with his insight?
  6. From your comment, I thought it was going to be a rumoured signing of someone really unpopular. A modern-day Dougie Imrie if you like. I couldn't actually think of a suitable candidate, maybe resigning Dec - fire away with suggestions.
  7. Is that a cardboard cut-out of Liam Neeson? I'm not sure what's going on here.
  8. Can't help but go a bit Argyll on this special occasion. Lovely.
  9. Going by the responses, that's in Pittsburgh. I'm quite impressed they're serving Brewdog Elvis Juice.
  10. Waiting on the in-laws, testing my new tankard! Happy Christmas everyone. [emoji482]
  11. I get all chat about waiting for a bigger and better deal from England (that was my first thought too) but I can only assume he's not looking to move and having a settled family life is a big part of how he's felt recently.
  12. Had he not previously made a lot of having a settled family life and that was a big part of him feeling "at home"? In which case Utd are probably offering him the best deal he can have without him moving.
  13. What sort of figures are you hearing? A 3 year deal on much higher wages is not to be sniffed at, just thought he could have got much more in England but maybe he doesn't fancy upping sticks.
  14. They must be offering him some deal if it's true. Doesn't make a lot of sense to sign a PCA straight away when he has months to see what his options are.
  15. I was buying a ticket from the self-service machine for my local journey and my daughter commented on the price of a Glasgow to Dundee ticket on the home screen. It was something like £44 for a return ticket.
  16. The main award is the result of a vote- is the team award also a vote? If so, then it's hardly a surprise.
  17. A few months ago I don't think any of us would have thought we'd have been looking at this transfer window more with a view to shipping players out than bringing them in but it looks as though that could well be the case.
  18. This picture is now on the forum Premiership page on the app and absolutely stands out for the tremendous shot that it is.
  19. Cheers, thanks. I'd be surprised if we decide to extend his loan beyond January. Surely someone else can come on for those last 5 minutes when Woollery is knackered. I suppose the question is who plays if Woollery is unavailable and can we bring in a better option to Roberts?
