  1. Pretty much how I would have summed it up - thanks for saving me from typing it out. I don't have any real gripe with St. Johnstone (there are other teams I'd much rather go down) so this isn't meant as a dig, they were tidy enough at times but just seemed severely lacking up front. They liked a bit of punt and chase or long diagonals and it caused us a few worrying moments but we adjusted, got to grips with it and they strangely persevered when it wasn't working. The difference in guile in the forward lines was striking (no pun intended) and probably explains the difference in league positions.
  2. I'd agree he's moved ahead of Crawford and Grimshaw but ( this isn't meant as a criticism of Cornelius per se as the whole team seemed a bit off it) I thought our midfield struggled to get on the ball for long spells yesterday.
  3. Is anyone else a bit freaked out by Rory Loy's lack of ear lobes?
  4. Lovely day for a game of football. Can't believe the difference in weather- coming through on the train, the visibility in Glasgow was dreadful.
  5. Looks lovely but you won't be drinking much of it at 10%!
  6. Cornelius was alright at Hibs but I'm surprised that it's Slattery that drops out for Donnelly. Can only assume he's maybe got a knock. If Donnelly is fully fit then a midfield of him with Goss and Slattery would have been interesting. Maguire misses out completely- is he injured or suspended?
  7. What's the weather like in Motherwell? In my part of Glasgow visibility is about 50 yards because of the fog. Not quite as bad as that game at Kilmarnock a few years ago but not far off and only going to get worse as it gets dark.
  8. Thanks. That's a much more cynical answer than Capt. Oats' though![emoji1]
  9. I don't want to read too much into the club's social media but does featuring him like this suggest he's likely to play on Saturday?
  10. Yeah, we (as in a lot of the fans, maybe not the club) were pretty desperate to sign him at one point. Were Rangers looking for us to pay too much of his wages?
  11. I've not see it for a few years but I'm sure Gremlins has some chat dispelling the Santa fantasy so I suppose it depends on your 9 and 11 year olds' views on the guy in the red suit. We watched 8 Bit Christmas last night which was good fun. All about some kids trying to get a Nintendo for Christmas when they'd just come out.
  12. I've had a couple of recent family holidays in Cornwall where that was a firm favourite.
  13. We watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation last night which was good fun. I'm starting to get in the mood. [emoji318]
  14. If you want to stiffen the walls then you could put some timbers in diagonally between studs. One or two locations on each elevation should do although having the board securely screwed to the studs should provide sufficient racking resistance.
  15. For that reason I don't understand why anyone could have a bottom 5. Why would you watch a second episode of anything you've already decided is pish?
  16. Surely everyone realises by now that Aberdeen is where Motherwell players go for their careers to die.
  17. It's my wife's birthday on Sunday. She couldn't give a monkey's about football but I'm sure she'd want me to be happy. Wait a minute - you're not actually a middle-aged woman are you and she's just been pretending to not like football?
  18. I watched it for the first time last Christmas. It reduced me to a blithering mess. I'm not watching it or going to Celtic as they'd probably both have similar results.
