  1. Levein, if you take him at his word, stating that Neilson had said it was a mistake leaving Hearts & he would like to go back. Whennquestioned, on it by Kenny McIntyre, Levein said that he was.talking.about sometime in the future at some point, not that he wanted to leave now. More paranoid minds might think that as Levein was."sacked" 31st October, it was an approach without going through the clubs & Hearts intention all along to get Neilson of relegated, or Stendal left anyway in summer
  2. There is no need to. The simple fact that it only mentions "yes" votes, means that those entitled to vote do not need to enter a vote of it does not signify agreement, therefore any "no" vote isn't considered. Whether you agree with the laws or not, unless it specifically states it cannot be done, then until it is changed or challenged then "carry on". There was no need to have a "no" vote, only a yes vote. SPFL have obviously included "no" to ensure everyone returned a vote. (1)A member signifies his agreement to a proposed written resolution when the company receives from him (or from someone acting on his behalf) an authenticated document— (a)identifying the resolution to which it relates, and (b)indicating his agreement to the resolution. (2)The document must be sent to the company in hard copy form or in electronic form. (3)A member's agreement to a written resolution, once signified, may not be revoked. (4)A written resolution is passed when the required majority of eligible members have signified their agreement to it. Period for agreeing to written resolution (1)A proposed written resolution lapses if it is not passed before the end of— (a)the period specified for this purpose in the company's articles, or (b)if none is specified, the period of 28 days beginning with the circulation date. (2)The agreement of a member to a written resolution is ineffective if signified after the expiry of that period.
  3. Could he give me the lottery numbers since he's got the Mystic Meg gift
  4. Bloody hell, that list is enough to make send your season ticket back! Often wondered how they make these lists up, do they go "right lads who used to play for them and is doing badges, coaches or is a manager?, Ok right throw in a couple of ex managers for them & any one else who's Scottish and has ever managed, right pub?" There is maybe one or two in there, but my god what lot of dross.
  5. But, but, but..... Don't they know Tom English and the rest of BBC Sport Scotland and Jambos everywhere say that's not fair....
  6. Don't read tabloids if I can avoid it thanks. Are you able to answer? Are you just here to try and tell us "little people" we are all wrong and the only correct opinion is yours? Are these leagues continuing? Are these areas under "control" of Hollyrood which so far has NOT given permission for football to restart playing matches.
  7. Nope, can you point out what in that shows I am upset at a completely irrelevant situation to the issue we are talking about? You are right it is hilarious, a club makes an approach for another club's manager that previously was theirs. A manager hounded by that club's fans that even paid for a plane to fly overhead towing a banner demanding he leave. A manager derided by that club's fans that had them sitting 2nd in the top league when he left. How's it gone since? Now back to the points raised, that are actually relevant if you can...
  8. Can you please list the facts that would allow the season to be played to a finish? Just the facts typed out one fact per line, without mentioning England as they can play football and our legislature has said we can't? Yes we can, many sensible people can, easily. I thought someone else approached her? She did nothing, certainly according to her statement she made to Radio Scotland which was broadcast so we could hear her words. To be fair why would it matter to anyome outside Scotland? How many folk care about Macedonian, Bosnian, Chilean, Vietnamese, Austrian, Danish, Mexican football to name a few outside of their countries?
  9. I could say it shows someone swimming against the tide of public opinion. The only thing is you have to read more statements than those released by Hearts whether officially.or given via Tom English. Myself, I read the Hearts court document, multiple club statements, SPFL statements, debate in here(where reasonable and quantifiable), other places, various news sources to try and hopefully get past the journalists opinion and just get the facts. Also read UEFA and government statements. Also handy are the comments from various club chairmen/CEOs not contained within club statements. Put that all together and you see through the piss and wind and can then make an informed decision, based on facts as free from bias as possible.
  10. Interesting in the Scott Burns piece. Basically Neilson told by Ogren if he wanted to speak to Hearts then there was no going back. He only wanted those who were 100% commited to United.
  11. Thinking out loud here, could this be detrimental to Hearts court action and Stendal? They are going to court to stay up and stop promotions. Stopping promotion stops United going up. By product of this is United's manager doesn't get to manage in top league, they then offer this. Also if Stendal is basically released of hearts go down, if they win court action does that mean as they aren't relegated his contract hasn't ended?
  12. We don't. It rose to that in the last accounts because of the January 2019 signings of almost a brand new team. That summer over 11 first team squad players left, with far, far less coming in.
  13. I'd believe Scott Burns at Record/Express over Murray. Scott has been very accurate with United stories going back over a number of years.
  14. Sorry , my mistake, £2.3 million to BT (which may have been less if ND hadn't slagged them publicly, which wasn't a good look) and £1.5 million to Sky. Forgot about that last amount. Foreign is £2 million a year so at worst would be £500000 (ie a quarter, 8 games not played). BBC deal is £2.8million a season, most would be £700000. Total would be maximum £5million. How much would we have had to pay in penalties to Sky if new contract couldn't start, or was delayed or shortened due to lengthened 209-20 season?
  15. Yes, they are happy to call the winners.of the leagues Champions, happy for prize money to be handed out based on finishing position & European places based on finishing position, but no promotion or relegation. If they had stopped Champions being declared, they would have made an "enemy" of Celtic.
  16. Has it been proved right? According to it there was a £10million liability to BT/SKY etc, but that appears to be settled for £2.3million. Combined tv deal was worth £17.5 milion per year for 30 games so £10 million seems a bit steep, even if we factor in foreign broadcaster's and BBC. It does however match, however, amazingly the figure due By SPFL if the legal action is succesful,. How did they know that or was that due to the ICT/Hearts/Rangers plan that umpteen Championship clubs have confirmed was being worked on. The reconstruction.plan was not excellent nor did it suit all teams or it would have been voted through.
  17. As long as he wasn't talking about Steve Backley, or Fatima Whitbread
  18. I think I' d draw the line at "yours, disgusted of Dundee"
  19. Only thing I can think of is if, like Rangers* fans, we complain on mass they might take notice of a pile of complaints of a similar nature.
  20. This, I could go for. The original idea you put forward nope. Would also potentially make.league closer with only having to play OF* teams twice each rather than 4.
  21. Yup, can't see any reason he deserves a "seat" at the negotiating table.
  22. They did that, BUT that was what prompted Dave McKinnon to publicly come out & put his name to it in the article I linked to. The one linked by me is in response to that ICT statement. Dave McKinnon claims that other Championship clubs will confirm that ICT's CEO was putting this forward. To be fair it's. not the first that that he's been caught telling "personal versions of the truth" in this saga, eg see Kheredine's apology to Dunfermline. I agree I don't see exactly what benefit to ICT other than they maybe feel United would have to cost cut if they stayed and as such they'd have more chance of promotion.
