  1. My birthday is in early May, anyone think I’ll be able to travel to a nearby town for a haircut by then?
  2. The Ayrshire News sites are reporting that a phone mast was burned down by neds thinking it was causing the spread of coronavirus. The mast wasn’t a 5G one
  3. Small Business owners, employees fearful for their jobs, “financial experts”. Those are the 3 types they spoke to on said report
  4. I know they can’t be compared and I wasn’t. Just saying that they’ve never found a cure for cancer, maybe they won’t find a cure for covid
  5. ITV news at 10 lead with the financial implications of “lockdown”, that was the top story. Seems people are already getting angsty about the financial implications of it all.
  6. What if it’s like cancer and they never find a cure for it? Will football and sports events be played behind closed doors forever?
  7. When will the results of this debacle be announced? It’s going on longer than an Eastenders storyline
  8. I’m perplexed why we were always being shown morgues or makeshift morgues with loads of coffins whilst the peak was happening in Italy, yet we’ve been shown nothing of the sort here. The makeshift hospital at the SEC isn’t expected to be used. I find it staggering that we’ve had so many deaths in the UK yet more people were shocked and worried when we were shown the images from Italy
  9. The government are saying you can go out once a day for except is enough though. I don’t see how people like me who are going a walk once a day are contributing to people being in intensive care? I was out a walk today, I went through the woods in my town, down the field and then onto the beach. I passed a couple and we stayed about 10 feet away, and a dog walker who was the other side of the road. Not sure how Im going to catch or transmit Coronavirus through that
  10. I’ve never been a gym goer so I can’t compare. I’ve always been into long walks or hikes. I’ll continue to go my walk each day as it’s allowed. The govt and health advisors have said they realise mental health will be affected by the current situation and that’s why they encourage exercise once a day. It seems a lot of people on this thread are enjoying being martyrs and staying indoors 24/7
  11. Personally for me it’s a struggle to stay indoors and look at four walls. I had a bereavement in Feb and not being able to go out of town to get things or just for a change of scenery gets me down. Getting out for the one allowed exercise a day keeps me sane and helps to clear my head a little (I have depression). There’s no comparison between exercising indoors and getting out in the fresh air and seeing nature
  12. He’s true though. Money can’t buy happiness, loved or good health
  13. I guess where there’s life, there is hope..as they say
  14. Mines are pretty simple but seem miles away at the moment. To be happy, healthy, content and have a partner that doesn’t break my heart
  15. I have no sympathy for Doc at all. He made his decision in Jan so he can live with it when Aug rolls around
  16. Anyone know when the first furlough payment is going to be paid?
  17. Got to say the whole vote thing has been a shambles. Yet again it shows the SPFL to be tinpot
  18. I would if the garages around town were open
  19. The same Stanley Johnson that said he would go to the pub if he NEEDED to, only about 4 weeks ago. What a cad
  20. That’s what I thought too. None of the big Glasgow summer music events have been cancelled yet, or Little Mix and the the Killers at Falkirk in July
