  1. I think this is why attention has turned to getting someone from England. I don't think cross-border loans count.
  2. In fairness, it seems to be Hamilton fans putting the boot in, and they've been watching him play. Certainly we'll need to wait and see how he gets on tonight, but this is a big call for McKinnon. Once Toshney is back our defence should return to its previous solid form, but we need to start scoring goals and the solution doesn't appear to lie within the existing squad. If Longridge does no better than emulating Daly and Wighton, in terms of goals scored, then there are some difficult questions to be answered around Ray's eye for a forward.
  3. We've got a game on Tuesday night, and we've only got one senior striker, who wasn't fit enough to make the bench today. Ray's in for a busy 48 hours.
  4. This paragraph really made me laugh: The manager commented, “The first prize will be your logo / name on the front of the new away kit for next season and the second prize will be your logo / name on the back of the team’s away kit for next season. In addition, there 4 other prizes which includes Match Sponsorship, Ball Sponsorship and Hospitality. Our Commercial Team has consulted with our supporters via an online survey and we are confident the new shirt design will be very popular indeed, so if you want your business or favourite charity’s name to be on that shirt, please get involved now - before it’s too late – by contacting Tom Morgan or Laura Andreucci on 01592 263514 (option 2), or by emailing commercial@raithrovers.net.”
  5. Grant Adam is now outside the club, serenading a taxi rank with a sectarian ditty.
  6. I'm sure Ray mentioned something in his interview about 'bringing him up from England', so it ticks all the boxes. C'est la vie. I only had a quick skip through the video - did I hear correctly that Vaughan has had a setback? Shite news.
  7. Morton about to announce an 'exciting' new signing. Wouldn't surprise me if it's the player in question.
  8. Upcoming Saturday game at home against St Mirren has been shifted to a Tuesday night. Shite.
  9. I watched it the other day, and you're right, it's quality. Alba really are only let down by the fact they broadcast in a daft language. Their half time packages are excellent.
  10. Callachan won't have been away from running for very long, but he'll still be a fair shove from being able to get stuck into a game again. The big issue with a dislocated shoulder is making sure the joint is strong enough to stop it from happening again. Rush him back too soon and you can risk dislocating it again and resetting the whole process.
  11. We've got the option to recall Bates if necessary. Doubt it'll come to that. Also, Laurie Ellis has been sitting patiently on the bench recently, and played in the Development League on Monday...
  12. Oh, Dougie http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/footballer-stag-smashes-glass-jug-6448813
  13. Eh? What possible purpose would that serve? You're honestly the most contrary c**t sometimes.
  14. Pleased to say I'm doing my bit for Suicide Prevention Day. Haven't killed myself at all yet today.
  15. It won't happen, because they're going to blow that league away this year, but could you imagine the #scenes if he did somehow thwart Dunfermline's title charge. That's statue stuff, right there.
  16. Was always likely to be the case. Short of mistaken identity, you'll always struggle to get a red card overturned.
  17. Apropos of nothing, Liam, I just wanted to say thanks for running the unofficial Facebook page. I'm a big fan of having the various news articles all appearing in the same place.
