  1. Glasgow schools off. Full day off for me and and still get paid.
  2. Anyone buy their stuff from Vaporized? I like their liquids (Luke Skyvapor my favourite) but their staff do my head in. I understand they are in sales and are probably told to try and flog expensive shite to unbeknown customers but the same guy in the shop near my work keeps trying the “Buy six get another two free” effort when I’m in buying specifically three. Another was when I was trying to buy a replacement Sub V tank and instantly after saying yes we have them he was pulling out Clieto tanks that were about £40 dearer. Just gies what I’ve asked for ffs.
  3. Folk littering really gets up my goat. I work with primary school children and their lack of manners is terrifying. I realise they are children but surely this is drummed into them at school and (hopefully) at home.
  4. Shat out this one but with waiting on two outcomes I feared the worst. Was expecting Man Utd to score if anything.
  5. Sentenced to 30 years. Might as well top him now, Dead Pool points would be appreciated as well as his death.
  6. Clyde are confirmed good guys. There won’t be an official statement as the proposals are not official but 100% the Clyde chairman is against it. I’ll receive an email from him by Monday.
  7. Have all supermarkets switched to the new stuff? I still don’t think I’ve tried it yet.
  8. Other matchday costs as well need to be factored in. Clyde would need to pay extra stewarding and rent if the facilities at least four times more. I’d guesstimate that’s around £6k-£7k alone. I haven’t had a response from our chairman yet which is disappointing. We have a Q&A with Danny Lennon next week so will ask his thoughts then.
  9. I mentioned that yesterday when I seen it on twitter. Can imagine Chris McCart wouldn’t have been too chuffed.
  10. When waiting at the bus stop and someone flaps their arm about as if it's a Boeing 747 they're trying to get to pull in. Arm out, see the indicator on the bus flashing in and I'm pretty sure it will stop.
  11. Even more striking was Rangers were in League Two at the time when Robertson was on top form for Queen’s Park and they still didn’t notice him. For the amount of money the Old Firm invest in their youth set up’s, their return of national team standard of players is appalling and should be looked at before any proposals of shafting the league set up.
  12. Clyde are going to send out a statement although they haven’t mentioned when exactly. It’ll likely be the “wait and see the formal proposal” line but I’ll be absolutely mortified and raging if there are any positive vibes coming from it. Our fans group poll is currently 66/2 against the idea and our email to the chairman will be sent on Monday.
  13. Playing at cutting edge where results matter. Apart from when you can get promoted or relegated. “Brexit” We have had the ability (dare I say it foresight??!!) for years to impliment a rule in the top division to have at least a minimum amount of Scottish players u21/22/23 in every team in every match. Surely this experience is better than playing a boys club four tiers down. Apparently not. Then again it doesn’t enrich the the old firm so why should it ever be considered.
  14. Clyde’s SLO has directly emailed the chairman asking his stance on the matter and another Clyde supporter branch (well over 100 active and vocal members of matchday fans) have all but one vote against the proposals. When the vote amoungst us has concluded (already a majority) a strongly worded email will be be sent to Norrie Innes (Clyde chairman). Despite the shite written earlier in the thread and perhaps in the media about Clyde being a “supporter” of this shite, Clyde supporters are completely against this pilot and rest assured we’ll do everything that takes to prevent this from happening.
  15. We were also very vocal about Sevco getting into the leagues in the first place. Would be surprised and deeply saddened if Clyde have indeed accepted the proposal.
  16. The first post in this thread should have its own cabinet in the Hampden museum. It really is one of the best this forum has ever produced.
  17. Felt like shit for the last four days. Really high temperature, cannot sleep, lots of sweating, feel so dizzy when I stand up and a lot of coughing. Back to work tomorrow as well.
  18. Think everything you predicted there happened. Tell us your coupon for tomorrow.
  19. Depends how early but there's coaches from Buchanan Street that go straight to the airport. I got a taxi into town and the driver said he'd have took me straight there from Cumbernauld for £30 all in.
  20. Cheers for the replies. I’ve had another look at Shetland and the plane from Aberdeen seems reasonable but looks like I’ve missed a lot of the accommodation efforts. I’m looking to go between April and May (I realise the folk festival is at the start of May, a shame as that would have been brilliant) but a couple of weeks or so after that might be doable. I’d only be going for three or four days - no idea if that is long enough, I don’t drive so probably not, but it’s something I really want to do.
  21. I'm looking into the possibility of visiting a couple of the islands in 2018. I was looking at Shetland but I'm thinking it's maybe best trying out Orkney first instead? I'd be going by ferry so maybe that's best place to start. I'll be honest - I'm a bit of a city guy but the idea of being out in the open air, walks and the beautiful views are making want to do these trips more and more. It also saddens me I've never before looked into exploring more of Scotland than the main cities and towns. But aye, Orkney: good place to start?
  22. Club 58 will never see such a big pre match party. Bouncers will be on the doors checking for counterfeit tickets too, I’m told such is the interest in this one.
  23. I’ve tried so many different angles the last fortnight or so and keep hitting the bar. Today’s the day!
