1. OUCH ! your getting hotter but you still haven't got the correct answer Tedi as that was the first competitive fixture and I'm talking about the first game the new club played as a training exercise because they had no licence to play a friendly at this point.

    Try try again Tedi.

    Wasn't it Airdrie United?

    Wasn't the score 2-1?

If I'm rright do I get a star or five?

    Just guessing like.....

You're falling into the Amigos' trap there. How many tabs are open on your browser at the moment?

Obsessed with rangers? Aye, and with Pratchett, La Plante, Molly Hatchett, abortion, Homeland, and gun laws. At the moment.

Only one of which is a thieving bigoted organisation.

Christ, lads, there's more to life than football. Just ask a Bigot Brothers fan.

Molly Hatchett a thieving bigoted organisation?

    Well I never!!

    Cracking band, though.......

  3. I have to say, I do agree with this. tongue.gif Seriously though, still unsure about the players being demanded payment from rangers that broke yesterday. Can we all assume it's a story that has no foothold.
And you can f**k off as well.

ETA tongue sticking out

Every one of these players gave away thousands of pounds for nothing in return to help the club the only time I can think of when the fans did that is the Rangers Fighting Fund or whatever it was called. How much money are you or any other Rangers Fan prepared to give away the club?

I'd say they didn't "give away" thousands, more like they didn't TAKE thousands. Same effect, I know, but there's a bit of a difference, IMO.

Anyway, the club/company have been giving away millions for years, what's another few thousand per player?

Peanuts, in comparison with the money spunked away by Minty.

    National campaign.

FOOTBALL fans across Scotland are ready to turn out in huge numbers to support the Sell Out Saturday campaign.

Punters are determined to show there is life after Rangers and SPL clubs can expect a welcome boost.

Fans throughout the country are sticking together in a bid to fill out stadiums tomorrow.

    Dumbarton fan in apology revelation.

To quote form a Pink Floyd song on Dark Side of the Moon - I was really, really drunk at the time (when I wrote that post last night).

Misinformed, rude and drunk - Dumbarton fans, what are we both like, eh?

Tell you what, let's not bring up the issues of the last decade(where you get 25 years from i don't know),let's just concentrate on the present topic. Rangers fans feel that every SPL club, with the exception of Dundee, tried to exploit the support after rejecting the club from the SPL by trying to fast-track the club into division one,in order to hopefully get the club back into the SPL in hopefully the shortest timespan, only for the reason to get back as quickly as possible lost revenue from games v Rangers, whether you agree or not that is reality.

Many of those clubs voted against the club remaining in the SPL because of threat of boycott from their fans, that was the right of fans, now Rangers support are implementing that same right, with the full backing of the club. That is the stance of the support,or vast majority and the stance of the club. If people don't agree with that then that's too bad,i wouldn't think it is likely to endear the club to fans outside Rangers but the support feel they have a principle involved in this and the club backs the support on this.

There's a difference between the fans taking control of the situation, and the club taking control of the situation.

On this occasion, Charlie is acting like a proper, ahem, Charlie.

No thanks. I fail to see why the wee Hibs (for example) bring 4 or 5 hundred to Ibrox should result in them waltzing off into the distance with half the gate. When Aberdeen visited Kilmarnock at the tail end of last season the radio reports suggested they took less than 100 fans to the game - on what grounds should Killie give them half the gate?

As for Rangers - SPL clubs have already told us they neither want or need us. On that basis - I'm as certain as I can be they wouldn't want our money.

Maybe if you let their allocation exceed 500, they might contribute more to the attendance? Then they can contribute more.

Your lot and the other lot in the East End have skewed the attendance ratio for years. I'm delighted if you get ripped for 50%-you've collectively been tucking over opposition supports for years. f**k youze - it's your turn now.

Possibly mentioned before, but how dumb is this attitude?

As the clubs split the gate, surely this hurts Sevco Rangers just as much as Dundee United.

I assume United will liaise with Ibrox about how much the away allocation should be.

United should simply say - 6,000 for you 6.000 for us. Whatever you sell you keep. fifty fifty split principle maintained. Any boycott directly affects Sevco Rangers

I'm sure a few neutrals would be willing to fill any vacant home support seats - if only to screw up any boycott blackmail attempt.

Good idea, but slightly flawed:someone has to pay the overheads - police, stewards, floodlights, etc etc.

A straight 50/50 would instantly give the away team 100% of the income, but how do you then subtract (from them) a share of the overheads?

With Rangers' track record, they'd maybe just be away with the money, and not pay their overheads share. Particularly if you've just handed over 6,000 tickets (or whatever amount) and let them get on with their own ticket sales. I think most clubs would do a runner and try to avoid paying a share of the overheads if they could........

Well you can have York City for the heady days of the mid-eighties and the recent Wembley trips, or Leeds for the turn-of-the-millennium fun, mainly due to using my mate or his wife's season ticket when one or both couldn't make it....

I should feel some empathy with Bradford fans, rattling about in a bloody great barn of a stadium, and Wednesday do have a sensible kit choice....

    Anybody but bloody Doncaster!

I know we're off topic a bit, but my favourite English team are well known for their administration, going down a couple of leagues due to administration and financial mismanagement, play in white and blue (and a little bit of yellow). Their current manager is trying to win his eighth promotion of his career, and they play at LS11 0ES.

They have had similar financial problems to Rangers. And their Chairman is a wee runt.

    .......

As for my real life and employment, I neither can nor wish to share details

    ....

Secret Agents don't normally share their details, nor do psycho Mammy killers, so I'm not surprised at this line above.

However, secret Agent serial shaggers usually boast about their conquests!!!!!

Anyway, you're just a Yorkshire yokel farmer in my book.tongue.gif

Who's your favourite Yorkshire team, btw? I bet it's not the same as mine.......

TRFS (heavily edited to remove all the dung you said)

    Ya fcuking muppet !!! ;)

I rest my case, attack dog.

That's three of you reeled in.

    QED x 3.

If I'm a muppet, call me Stadtler or Waldorf.

Otherwise, take yer insults and aim them at someone with thin skin, and a timid character. You failed miserably aiming your insults at me. I have the skin of a rhino, so GIRFUY.

And to think I nearly defended you for the "soldier" attack you got recently. Thank f**k I didn't bother. You are as bad as the Amigos.

  12. This thread is many things - it was never, ever great.

And I say that in acknowledgement that it has had some great moments - none better than the board WKR (© Dhensebhore) telling us that one of his many personae acts as a secret agent.

Not the one deployed here mind you - because he made it cear that he wouldn't get taken seriously!

    ETA - lest we forget...

1st bold bit - it was until 5 of you spoiled it with continual tedium.
