1. I prefer the term "seasoned citizen of the world". wink.gif

ThirdRock - I know you've criticised me and others for the exchanges on here recently, and hell yes you had a point, but just look back over the last few pages. This is what happens when you try and engage these people in an adult conversation. When there was f**k all happening, there may have been some excuse for the nonsense. Now there's a fair few topics to be discussed, the rangers fans on here are just not willing to participate.

A prime example is the idea raised by SS - a possible exit route from this farrago which would leave most satisfied but not necessarily pleased. A couple of us commented on it, in an "olive-branchy" kind of a way, only for the berrz to list the people they wouldn't pay, which debts they would and wouldn't pay, basically which conditions they wanted to impose. Back to June/July, in other words.

There are those of us genuinely interested in this situation's twists and turns - we want to know what's going on, and some of us living outwith the Retard/Herald/STV range rely on the Net, including this site, to keep up with what's going on. In common with my normal routine, that means finding out opinions and facts from all sides - including fans of the former rangers.

Anyhoo, I'm off to wait on the postie - I'm sure my prospectus will arrive today. Bloody Royal Mail, eh - nearly two weeks to deliver a simple package!laugh.gif

1st bold bit - that was my tongue in cheek. Plenty of non-yokels in Yokshireland. Hell, isn't there a businessman - whose name is a colour - who hails from there? Actually, it was me making mischief - I still can't get my head around how a Psycho could also be a serial shagger secret agent!!

2nd bold bit - excellent idea, won't happen though, as the current, ahem, consortium aren't in it for the long term, I don't think - nor would they want to fly the Corporate image flag long enough to steady the business and take positive credit for that idea.

3rd bold bit - I thought you said you'd had sent them to several Queens' Hotels?

But what I was really trying to point out - particularly to Dhenbhoy earlier - that it's becoming tedious - you're all in a 5-ring circus. It fills up the pages here, but I don't think all the bitching and dick waving are positively contributing to the thread.

It's like the Barrowland in Glasgow - was excellent in it's heyday, now becoming a bit worn at the edges. Just like the BRALT.

As I also said to Dhenboy - rant over :D

  2. The 'útter bollix' was not directed at you ... so apologies.

I may be in 'attack mode' as you so eloquently put it, however you have not been the subject to his ridiculous and inane posts and attempts to blacken names and credibility. The other four or five posters may testify to that as well ...

If he is suddenly correct in the hundreds of inane posts and attacks and one line insults ... forgive me for not taking the time to try and fathom what it is he saying.

As for the whether or not he knows the prospectus is subject to FSA approval, he is only aware because similar to his now famous 'the five stars are for winning SPL titles' incident he make a complete fud of himself before (see the screenshot below). You'd think he want to forget he made a fanny of himself but apparently not .. much the same when he tried arguing;" he made a mistake about the five stars and corrected himself " .... now that was a laugh since he was ripped to shreds yet again.

He has been given ample opportunity by myself and others to retract his lies he posts about individuals .. however he simply refuses. Therefore, at least in my book, he is fair game. Personally (I can't speak for others) I'd happily leave him alone if he manned up, apologised and retracted the false statements .... the ball is in his court and he knows it.

If you feel I attacked you in anyway .. apologies .. not my intent.

No apologty needed as you didn't attack me.And I'm thick-skinned enough to stand up for myself.

I know that your position can be a bit difficult at times with the constant 5-ring circus between you all, but as I said - on this one occasion - I can see what Tedi's saying and he's quite correct.

The "attack dog" expression is stolen from an English journalist who had a problem with Labour, particularly in the Blair era - any time someone said something that Labour didbn't agree with, the Labour "Attack Dogs" - a reference to a number of stirred up Labour Politicians - would shout the person/persons down as a racist or homophobe, or something like that.

And that's my point - that's how I see you act at almost every post that Tedi writes - like an attack dog. That's your call, but it does get a bit tedious when all five of the 5-ring circus are all dick waving at once, and when the point-scoring's going on, there's no real BRALT debate.

I'll say no more on this, and I'll just be happy to save my Employer a lot on downtime asince I can to skip past the petty arguments that all 5 of you make, apparently seeming to think that they are all actually making a contribution to this once great thread.

    End of rant :D

A dream come true for you.

    https://www.mi5.gov.uk/careers/#

    No need to thank me.

No-one will thank you. What a load of shite. He is from Yorkshire, isn't it obvious he's the same as you - a fucking local yokel?

ETA - he's no more a secret agent than I'm a professional basketball player -time to stop your keech.

  4. Exactly, Green is on record (STV) claiming that the IPO would be rubber stamped by the FSA, this is not as you correctly point out a requirement to float on AIM, this may prove to be a huge own goal by Green, as anybody with the cash to invest is likely to be unimpressed if it is proven that Green lied on national TV about the one thing that could really give his prospectus some credibility.

The one thing I do not know is, can Green ask the FSA to approve this deal directly even though it is not required?

To the bity in bold, I can't answer for certain, but I suppose he could ask - I guess the worst that the FSA could say is - naw.

If it's normal process to not approve it directly, then you might find that, like lots of workplaces, they'll revert to type and follow procedure.

If they were asked to approve, you might find that it would need to be further discussed, perhaps legal advice taken,committes/meetings etc - which all takes time to resolve.

And if I believe everything that's been suggested, that is the exact opposite of what Green wants. Popular opinion is that he wants a quick share issue so that he can be on his way, IIRC.

  5. Sorry but utter bollocks .. Tedi's a fcuking idiot who argued that the stars on the shirt (you know those five irrelevant specks now hidden under their armpits .. ooooh the shame) of the old club he professes to support were for winning SPL titles.

Tedi simply regurgitates the same old shyte and he has been challenged on that stupid statement before ... he's a complete spanner or spammer which ever you prefer.

You are attributing a level of intelligence to ' Fivestars' that he simply does not possess.

No I'm not. I'm merely pointing out that, if you had read what he said, and read the context, you might have recognised what he was trying to say - what I noted he was trying to say,

You're at it again - you're doing the attack dog thing again.

Whether you have decided that he is an idiot - or not - he is correct in what he says on this occasion.

Regarding his intelligence, well, that's another matter, but on this occasion - I stress this occasion - I can fully understand what he was trying to say.Whereas, you attacked him. Again.

There's three or four of you on both sides of the former OF - plus one non-former OF person - who are ruining this once great flagship thread with your tete-a-tete dick waving shite.

That's a reason why less and less people are posting on here. One positive from that is that I can skip past many a page nowadays, whereas during the summer my Employer would have fired me on the spot for the amount of time I sneaked on here.

So thanks to you four or five posters for increasing my dailiy productivity by giving me the opportunity to avoid reading the result of your productivity - bullshit.

ERM ! WTF ! Green does not need to provide an FSA approved prospectus as it's an IPO share issue ! it's a private floatation and will not be on the stock exchange. He sells the shares and can bugger off with the money if he wanted to  he can say the FSA approved the draft and then change the structure of it before sending them out ! but it's not actually binding to the FSA rules of conduct.

You will have no safety guarantees if you bought into Greens IPO share issue AT ALL !.

Have you ever heard of a "boiler room shares scams" because Green and his consortium are up to their necks in them :o

So I guess you won't be buying shares then if there is no guarantee that Green will use the money in the manner he said in his bullshit idiot IPO shares application prospectus ?

I think you're misreading what Tedi is saying. In fact, I'm sure you are as you're once again in attack mode.

Green said that the FSA would be looking at his IPO. We know, and have been told many pages ago, that FSA don't or won't look at his IPO as it's on AIM.

IMO Tedi had his tongue in cheek as he typed, and rightly finished his post with a clear indication-no FSA scrutiny, no shares purchase by Tedi.

It's quite readable, actually, if you just stopped acting like an attack dog and analyse his post before writing all that shite .

You're getting really tedious on here. All attack and no debate.

And too many emotions and exclamation marks. Grow up.

I may be wrong but I had assumed that they lowered themselves to name calling as it is the only form of bullying available to them on an internet forum. If you watch closely they will all join in of an evening which we can assume heightens their " pleasure ". I would suggest it says more about them than him..........Unless of course WRK is actually from one of those movies, in which case I`ve got the totally wrong end of the stick !

Hark at you, defending a Killie fan, how noble!!laugh.gif

Or more accurately, shooting at the twin Benns......biggrin.gif

Norman reminds of another Walter Mitty character who used to post on these type of boards a few years ago by the name of Rosleabhoy.

    Norman ace of spies

You and Bendarroch seem to have two different alternative character names for this White Rose Killie person.

Unless I'm reading you both wrong -and I'm not infallible (sp) - could you tell us why you are using two further pseudonyms for him/her?

My guess is that one is based on Norman "Psycho" Bates, and the other one is a little more obvious.

So what is this White Rose Killie person then - a mother killer in a pretty old film, or a spy who shags his way around the world as s/he goes round saving the planet from international criminals?

Please share the joke with us all?

Most teams will try and gain an advantage over opponents that's football, we have the fan base to ensure that the club is properly funded and run. It would surprise you about our fans attitudes, most bears accept our situation regarding overspending,

The transfer ban is effectively for one window, i hope we have our scouts looking for good youngsters leading up to the january one and if i get SFL rules correctly we can bring players in during the summer window, play them as trialists and register them once the ban expires. Our future squads must be mostly youths brought though supplemented by a few players being brought wisely and cheaply.

Fair enough, your opinion and debate is reasonable. However, although you assert that I'd be surprised about the fans attitude re. Overspending, it's difficult to deny that you have went way OTT this year, and the team you have would probably hold it's own easily in the league my lot are in. So, rhetorically, why did your fans not speak up at the purchases of the (my words here) mercenaries like Sandaza, the Brazilian guy and the other guy (French bloke)? Long term planning and early, unnecessary spending baffles me in this case; the seaside league could be won quite easily using home grown talent - yes, even using the kids - playing in a full time capacity in what is essentially a part-time league.

    Good money after bad, methinks?

  10. 1353368292' post='6823401']

Been down that road before, it doesn't work. I don't see why given time we can't have a team of home grown players capable of winning the SPL in the future, we have plenty of time on our hands. Just need a decent coaching and scouting system.

Yes you have, and yes, it doesn't work. Unsustainable.

I agree you could do it with home grown players, but unfortunately your club's transfer embargo situation and the bulk of your fans' attitude dictates that your club must overspend on players, even when the team are in the cesspit of the Scottish league system.

Rangers - always did, always will try to get the best players, even when unnecessary, to secure an advantage over your opponents. Even when playing plumbers, posties and bakers.

    WATP (we always throw poundsatit).

    Bennett, why are you bothering?

Kincardine as he usually does is having a discussion, quite reasonable.

Your last few thousand posts have just been nonsense from you... your opinion is worthless, a deluded opinion based in bias and blue tinted glasses. I have no idea why you are bothering because you and bedarroch are a couple of tits.

    Fixed that for you.

  12. 1352926606' post='6807110']

It's the best they've got under the current situation...

There was a few on here saying liquidation couldn't happen. When liquidation meant the death of the club... They got liquidated... Posters disappeared.

Then new posters appeared saying that it was the company that got liquidated. That the club is still the club and they still have the titles...

Expect them to disappear when HMRC start making demands for money owed and when titles start getting stripped because they are "still the same club"... Then a whole new gang will appear, you know the ones... I've been sitting watching and now feel its time to post.

I think Bearwithme and No8 are the only original posters on this thread. I think Bennett stuck to the old firm forum until they got accepted into the 3rd. I may be wrong.

    Don't forget Youngsy -he's a decent guy/poster

f**k Bennett, Bendarroch - diddy posters. Tedi isn't all bad.

    Dhenboy is a w**k and a !!!!! Repeater.

  13. 1352723665' post='6797950']

For it not to be working then I assume it must have already started......etc......

    no, not necessarily.

Any company/business/club (I guess) would float a potential share issue/advertise a product/sell an idea etc etc, and then take note of the public's reaction to said idea/share issue/advertising campaign etc etc before actually setting the wheels in motion for the full product etc etc roll-out.

Even the Tories and Labour use the BBC websites to float their policies, then await the reaction of the public before implementation. Take the fuel escalator for example - Osbourne has held back several times instead of crucifying us all with additional fuel tax due to public opinion: It's what these guys do. Sometimes it's called market testing, I think.

Back on to my point, and on topic. I think the share issue is being received very poorly - just look at some of the comments in the BRALT - I think Green has realised it's as popular as an angry rattlesnake, has ate some humble pie, and went to the Cardigan to put his emotional weight behind the share issue in the hope that Green can continue with his exit strategy at the expense of the Faithful Rangers fans.

    Just saying' like.
