  1. Dunno. Most of the ones round our way seem to be focused on various war memorials, remembrance plaques and the like. Stuff you would otherwise walk past on a regular basis and day-to-day wouldn't otherwise pay much attention to. But now you do. Which is a good thing I think... ETA - pokestops are, not gyms, sorry. But the point stands..
  2. What a c**t. It's a bairn's game that I got involved with to try and communicate with my boy where he had the upper hand, rather than me always being the know it all dad. But you meet a random kid under 12 and completely burst it for him. By all means beat him but leave the kid with a door open for a comeback, eh? You're now on par with the shit flinger. Proud?
  3. Been away for a couple of weeks holiday per chance? Used to happen all the time when I parked cars at the airport. Start the engine, release the handbrake and alternately try to pull away in first and reverse, back and forth like a pendulum with ever increasing swings. Mechanically it seems a bit rough but 90% of the time you'll free it off. Or get a low loader, they'll take it away, do the same and charge you £180 for the privilege ...
  4. PTTGOYN? People who get on their high horse about fizzy fkn juice in a pub/restaurant. Alcohol or water. Make your mind up. It's not a soft play.
  5. Aye. That's why they insist on putting the slice of fruit in it. Not at all to disguise the taste...
  6. Off to Hamilton this afternoon. Embdy got any sure fire phree munny tips?
  7. Modern Britain is indeed a very nice place to live. Why the fck all sorts of various activists want to change it to suit them is beyond me.
  8. Seems like the Dolphins are well up for it: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2934586/Man-SEX-dolphin-1970s-claims-new-film-performing-mammal-one-seduced-him.html Or BEASTwatch thread for this pish?
  9. Sorry for being late to the party and also *srs* but my recurring solution is to pick one of my da's old car registration nos. @KHS134v! It's a bitch tho that the old boy got a new company car every 3 years. Takes me up to 5 attempts but at least i understand the format... Sort code, account number and mothers maiden name to follow...
  10. Very sorry to hear that. I don't know you and I didn't know your dad but, having lost a variety of people in the last half dozen years or so, take heart from the fact that it was so quick. It certainly won't feel like it right now but it is for all of us inevitable. There's never a right time to go, but there's a right way to go. And I think your dad would be happy to have gone having had such good times recently and with his dignity intact.
  11. I reckon she's choking for some Dunfermline saucisson...
  12. Cashed oot at £154... Discovered that I've got a draw on elsewhere on another line. 'Mon the belgiques! 😜
  13. Well played BDVðŸ‘. Missed most of 1st half so shooting a wee bit blind. Got my money recovered on the NGS /over 0.5 goals so gone and jinxed it now by dropping my free £50 on Wales in 90mins @4/1.
  14. Was in Airdrie a couple of months back and spotted a silver audi with BAW84G. Red Porsche in Glasgow city centre quite often with P15AFF. There's a plumbers transit van in Stirling that has JOB8Y. and there's a Volvo cuts around Stirling with ECO55E. Used to work at one of the off-airport car parks in the 90s (when there was a hint of customer service) and we parked and recovered the cars based on their reg nos. That means I've been 'blessed' ever since with a near photographic memory for number plates. Cool story, huh?
  15. Many thanks for sharing after the event....😜
  16. Chelsea getting the draw did me for £180 on a £5 line. Fuming!
  17. Broke my rule and took an early banker with Arsenal. You ken the rest...
