  1. Currently closed, will speak to them tomorrow and see how it goes  Will go down the line of had a contact for that particular flight and they have breached it.  At the end of the day had expected to forfeit this money due to holiday being cancelled although this flight was not included in the holiday.

  2. If this goes through then after 50 years of supporting my club I would walk away from football.  Equally the proposal of clubs being attached to a senior team and getting 5 or 6 of their players is a non starter for me.  I want my club to develop their own players and not be  a nursery for the bigger teams. If this happens all sporting integrity is lost.

I know we have used a lot of loan players recently but you wonder where their heart is when it comes to an all out battles to avoid relegation etc.  Signed players knowing that relegation etc will cost them but loaners knowing that they will be going back to their own team.

B sides, which would be under 21s, would get smashed most weeks in League 2. Who shines in a team that loses most weeks? Not many. Confidence would go down and guys would be lost. We always hear about how vital confidence is, and it is, it's huge. Without a single older experienced guy beside them, B teams won't fare well. There won't be the encouragement and the chance for players to try things and make mistakes vital to their learning, because we've all seen teams with no confidence after numerous pumpings. They get rid of the ball quick, shell it long, don't want to take responsibility, won't want to risk taking a man on, won't show for the ball as much

League 2 teams will out muscle B teams. They'll bully them off the ball, will put in tough challenges to them to see if they can take it. Many guys in that league are experienced, so they'll know how to play on weak psyches, how to get under the skin of younger players. Without someone on the pitch to guide them, I predict that B teams would see loads of yellow cards and a high proportion of reds.

Would only be a matter of time before they changes the rules to include a couple of senior players in the team to look after the youngsters. There is no way that they are going to accept being whipping boys each week.

What makes the Bigot brothers unique thinking their colt teams will start in League 2 while the rest start in the Lowland league?

Forget about being feeder teams of the big boys as well. No way do I want to see 5 or 6 from one club turning out for my team. Do they really want to Fu'k the game up for the benefit of a few.

If this goes through then 50 years of supporting my local team ends.

Now that we are out of Europe presumably freedom of movement for players will end?

If they really want to develop the Scottish game then surely it is time to restrict the number of foreign players in the starting 11.  Let's reduce it to 3 and see what they say to that.

In addition if they are so keen to develop under 21's then each team must include 2 under 21's in their starting 11 with under 21 cover for their positions on the bench so if one of them becomes "injured" then the replacement is an under 21.

I support the move by Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers to have colt teams in the lower leagues, It is about putting Scottish football first. Not petty jealousy against the big sides. If Celtic and Rangers give more young players a chance who go on to be international players for Scotland then that is a good movie. I put the national team above everything.

    My arse

  5. Had a flight booked with Loganair from Southampton to Glasgow in July.  They have just changed the time of the flight,  on the same day, to something unsuitable. It would appear that they are saying there is to be no refund. Can some P&B lawyer/in the know have a look at this and see if there is recourse for a refund - small claims action.

Coronavirus - Covid 19 has had an unprecedented impact on the travel industry, including Loganair. It is a new and evolving challenge which faces our customers, our organisation and our own staff.
In response to changes in customer demand and in some cases, restrictions imposed by governments, we have been required to make some significant changes to our flying programme.
We appreciate this is inconvenient for customers who have had to postpone or cancel their travel plans but please ask for your understanding that in this case, unfortunately, we have been left with no alternative.
If below change is not suitable
    • We are providing all passengers a change to any future flight date, without incurring a change fee.
    • This can be actioned through pressing "Alternative Flights" below.
    • Please note, in some instances there may be a difference in fare payable.
    • The change flight page will display original prices. The additional cost will be calculated and shown in the basket once flights are selected.
    • Your original payment will count towards this fare.
    Hold Booking
If this schedule change is unsuitable, or you have concerns about your ability to travel due to the Coronavirus situation, we are offering you the ability to place your booking on hold.

Bookings will be placed on hold for 12 months, and you can contact us within that time to arrange travel on a different flight.

To place your booking on hold please press below button and complete the form.

You will not receive a notification of your booking being placed on hold when actioned.

As the alternative flight offered is deemed a reasonable alternative in this instance you are not entitled to a refund on your booking.

    Any advice greatly accepted.

Also, there's someting about the self absorption and self centredness of our culture.  Think about the reasoning involved in dropping litter - I have finished with this wrapper/can/bottle, I will drop it here.  No consideration about other people and no willingness to make the tiny sacrifice necesary to either put it in a bin or carry it home.  People are so consumed with themselves that they don't seem to notice or care about the effect they have on their environment.  People look at what impacts them right then and there and evaluate their actions on that.

Perhaps it is time for the council/police to do more in relation on this and instead of a fine the sentence is x amounts of picking up litter. This would certainly make them think if they had 8 hours litter picking on a Saturday or Sunday.

  7. Would imagine the contracts will be expired now and we should hear soon who is staying and who is going.

Irons in the same position as the rest of the managers - what do they do in terms of signing new players given that no one knows if and when the season will begin?

Difficult times and no one seems to know the answer. However I will still renew my season ticket so that there is some money going into the club even if there are no games.

Can't remember how many questions Johnson was asked, but he deflected every one of them effortlessly  (quite skilfully actually, then again he was reading from a pre-prepared Cummings script), so the sum total of Boris's replies was absolutely f**k all.

I have never seen such a rambling bumbling display that this clown presented yesterday.  Truly an embarrassment  to the country.  High time the media, and this will not happen, colluded together and each and everyone asked the same question until the buffoon answered it.

As for Cummings - that was a great script but why was he not asked as a SPAD why was he making a statement and why was he doing it on government property?  Also why did not of the media ask if he was such a caring husband and father why did he jeopardy their well being by putting him in a vehicle to see if his eyesight was okay to drive.  He should have been crucified on that point alone?

In addition we were all told that there had been no trip to Barnard Castle - why was the sudden change of heart not mentioned?

    Blues Brothers

    5/10 (Netflix)

Heard for ages that this is a great film full of comedy and great music. Had never seen it until tonight.

It's deeply average. Couple of funny moments and a few decent tunes. Very disappointing overall.

Seriously wrong its a  classic movie

Use of unnecessary violence in apprehension of the Blues Brothers…has been approved.

  10. Hawkwind - Have seen them live since 1973 and travel all over UK to see them. Highlight was 2 years ago when they played with the orchestra. Not everyone's cup of tea but live when they hit the groove they are awesome. Great bunch of blokes as well when you meet them.

Cool Runnings, when they pick the sled up and walk towards the finish line. Every. Fucking. Time.

The end of Paddington 2 when he finds out what the Browns got as Aunt Lucy's present had me pretty close the other day too!

Watched P2 last week and the eyes were moist at that scene.

  12. Saw it as it happened,  absolutely horrendous and still sticks in the mind.  Absolutely scary how quickly that fire spread and engulfed the stand.  It also set the mind racing about the safety of some of the stands in Scotland at the time.

  13. Now that the season is over will we still be naming a POTY?  If so my vote would be for Scott McLaughlan - not really fancied when he arrived but gave his all in every game and was one of our more consistent players over a disappointing season.

Difficult position for the manager at this time as well. Who does he consider releasing and signing not knowing if or when the next season will start and what the format will be.

Very uncertain times at the moment but I will still be purchasing my season ticket despite what may happen next season.
