  1. Really cannot see us going any further with Swift in charge. We have been caught out on numerous occasions trying to play the ball out from the back. There is a time for playing out and a time for giving it a good hoof. i think Swift has got it ingrained into the players that we must play it out. Invariably it led to us losing the first goal yesterday. Again we did not start to perform until about 30 minutes into the game. By that time we were chasing the game. Brennan is a calamity. yesterday there were several occasions when Yule was on the halfway line with a couple of defenders, a quick put out and he may well have beaten them for pace and it could have led to something but no Brennan must bugger about with the ball until the opposition are all back in position. Walker is a useless at this level and a liability and how he can off the park after a defeat grinning is shocking. Forbes, everyone apart from the management team have the same opinion of him. Again yesterday there were cries to get him off and make a change but typically they were ignored. Swift seldom knows how to change a game by using his subs proactively. He always is reactive, either when we have lost a goal or are behind with a few minutes to go. We cannot defend to save ourselves but we get the same pish from Swift every week "It is disappointing after the amount of work they have put in in training". What ever they are trying is training is either not working or the players are completely ignoring it. What is the secrecy with Liam Brown - all it takes is a simple statement to let us know if he is injured or not. Had high hopes for this season but they are quickly disappearing.
  2. Currently do not have a Smart Meter, have heard various stories about them. Can P&B fill in the pros and cons on whether to have one installed or not?
  3. Took the sending off to get us into the game. We seemed very much out of sorts up until that moment. Did Swift watch the Elgin - Annan game to see how Elgin had unlocked them? We certainly created chances but took ages to get a goal. Lack of quality on the bench yesterday. Walker does not impress at all and neither does Joseph. Could not believe that we had got into a winning position and yet again failed to hold onto it. Referee should have dealt with Fleming for his time wasting. When a team is blatantly time wasting is there a case for the referee blowing for time up on the 90th minute if the opposition have taken the lead? One thing is certain - we have to be switched on from the start next week. Can we have an update on Brown?
  4. At a talk with Jim Farry a good number of years ago that subject was brought up. His arguement against it was that in rugby advancing the penalty 10 yards may bring it into a kickers range and the risk of the offenders losing 3 points whereas in football that is not the issue. Poor excuse from SFA supremo at the time.
  5. Cannot make my mind up on this one. It is oil in the sea taken from the deck of a ship. Any comments?
  6. Only lost 2 goals last night must feel like a victory for the teddies
  7. Good result yesterday. Keeps the momentum going on a tricky surface. The decision against Crighton for the penalty looked very dubious to say the least and he was harshly done. Thought we might have conceded when it came to 3-2 but great finish by Orr. Brennan still looks like an accident waiting to happen. Game in two weeks time should be a cracker.
  8. Just logged on, after some considerable wait, to Shell Energy to submit by readings. My monthly payments have been up and down like a whore's drawers for months. I currently pay £135 a month and I am currently £202 in credit. Shell energy are of the opinion I should now adjust my DD to £338 a month. Aye nae bother.
  9. Depends who you are cruising with regarding taking drink onboard. Read the small print and it will tell you. As stated your cases are x-rayed and you have to go through scanners every time you come onboard. It is general practice for drink to be kept until the last night of the cruise when it is returned. If you like a drink then buy a drinks package - ideal as you have no drinks bill surprises at the end of the cruise. Check this out to see if it is worth it https://www.cruisemummy.co.uk/cruise-drinks-package-calculator/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=your_drinks_package_calculator_is_inside&utm_term=2022-09-23
  10. Surely she will not be in position for much longer. These interviews are utterly tragic and clearly show the smirking bitch does not have a clue.
  11. Daughter just back from Orlando where the family of 4 (Kids aged 8 and 6) did 15 nights. She told me that they had spent about $3000 on food alone. Could not believe it until you break it down to $50pppd for 3 meals and snacks and drinks and it does not last long when you look at the park prices for water and soft drinks.
  12. I would be surprised if he drops Forbes. Swift seems to be the only one that thinks he can do no wrong. If he does not start O'Reilly then he should be questioned why in the aftermatch interview.
  13. No more pain - best wishes to you and your family.
  14. And how often do they keep a pledge? Thinking about the not for profit energy supplier we were promised.
  15. There are still questions to be answered in certain areas but he is getting the breaks at the moment. How do you fancy Forbes for Miller?
  16. Worst health figures on record. Forth Valley 38.4% and Humza Useless calls for immediate action - thought he was the Minister in charge - what exactly is he going to do? Will be interesting to see who Sturgeon and her troops blame this on - Covid? Energy Crisis? or war in Ukraine? or the plain and simple fact that they are useless and incapable of running a raffle never mind the NHS.
  17. Thank god this is just about over. really been doing my head in with what is going on. Sorry but there is more to life than this pampered old lady and her family. I am sure they will be thinking of us when we cannot afford to heat our homes this winter.
  18. Just heard a female on TV saying that being in the queue was better than giving birth to her children. They really have lost all sense of reality. Congrats to MSM for brainwashing so many.
  19. He does not have Yeats defensive qualities but would consider replacing him with O'Reilly. Jamieson looks out of sorts at the moment and maybe a night on the bench with Corbett replacing him. Post match can Swift be asked what exactly he sees in Forbes and what does he bring to the team!
  20. Kane looks a class act and took his goals well. As said it was an entertaining but frustrating match to watch. We gifted 2 of their goals which is disappointing, we seem to be unable to cut out the errors. Forbes started well but quickly faded - still to see what Swift sees in him. Orr, when he came on, seemed more intent in pushing the opposition rather than getting on with the game. O'Reilly brought on far too late to make an impact. It would have been interesting to see how things would have turned out if the shot that came back of the bar in the opening minutes had went in. Fair credit to the team for not lying down though. Let's see how the next 2 games go.
