Thought 2 or 3 of them showed enough to at least get a another look in the next game. Suppose training will tell a bit also. Today reminded me why I don’t really go to friendlies. Nothing games Was impressed with Steele and also Adams had a couple of good saves and kicks it an absolute mile.

Might nip to the game, not usually a fan of friendlies. I predict, 1 of the trialists possibly 2 will be any good.

Looks done, hardly played at all in a very poor Hamilton, not sure if injured or just not at it.

I am excited to see how Steele, Stowe, Slater and an improved McIntosh get on in the friendlies. On paper all look like good signings, all identified early where we seem to have beaten off competition from other teams to sign them. I think we will see another 2 perm and 3 loans. Have these signings been forgotten about? Also, if we are bringing up trialists from England, it seems like these guys are in training early, so we will be running the eye over them properly, I would be astonished if Dick signed guys at the level of last year like Corfe, Komolafe, Isiaka etc. If he does then he deserves every bit of criticism that will come his way. Its also worth noting, that a couple of the hybrid guys were ok last year, Banks and Adwarka and Yassin in flashes.

I learned my lesson after saying Michael McKenna was a shite signing, albeit the jump is far bigger for this lad. The 9 players thing worries me slightly aswel, hopefully they are experienced players and not jobbers who have played 4 games for Stalybridge Celtic. Would imagine every team in the country will have trialists in over pre season.

We need a left back and it looks like Steele can play at RB and CB, Gold and Stewart can cover there also. Our new additions need to be a left back and forward players, not getting a centre back in from somewhere who is never going to play.

15 currently signed, imagine we will go with a squad of around 20-21, of that 3 will be probably be loans so think we will see another 2 permanent signings. As mentioned, one has to be a left sided defender unless there is better news on Hammy.

I think it's inevitable that we will see some left field trialists in the friendlies as well as 2 or 3 loans that may not come until August time. If we are going down this route again, hopefully they are at the level of Oakley, Banks and Adwarka. The rest were absolutely rotten. Loans as we all know, can be hit or miss also, for every Nouble there is an Olasanya. Really got to do our homework on these before we jump in and take anyone who just happens to play with a premier club.

Its not a bizarre signing in the slightest, we have one of the best goalkeepers in the league so I don't see the point in paying a high wage for someone to challenge him but ultimately sit on the bench for a full season. I would imagine we would've been looking for a younger one like Cammy Gill but we have went for someone at a lower level who seems to have a bit experience. Hopefully a bit better than the likes of Antel who we had the year before.

Imagine pulling the vote the day before, what a bunch of utter deluded muppets we have running our game. We're not getting our own way so spit the dummy completely and pull the vote. I honestly despair at the SFA.

Think the club need to come out and simply say we are voting against it like most eithers or else the accusations will start if the unthinkable happens and it was to pass through. It looks to be a non starter anyway so hopefully be forgotten about in a few days time.

Jack Hamilton should be a very good signing, he was brilliant in his two loan spells with us, always seemed to be a decent player in his way of making it at Livingston

Loved Hilson’s work rate but his goal record has been absolutely abysmal. Not worried about a turnover, we’ve retained our core and the guys moving on , not one of them has warranted a new deal. Possibly Banks

Some of the comments/opinions genuinely baffle me to the stage where I end up just laughing. There are hundreds of examples all over the footballing planet of managers / teams taking punts on youngsters from levels below and it not quite working out. Dylan seemingly had a lot of issues outside of football which prevented him training etc , you could argue we didn’t do enough due dilligence on him I suppose. Now playing at a level about 9 leagues below us. Kieran was a bit unlucky and think he should’ve been given more chances but not a championship level player , too much of a jump. The signings of Hetherington and Dow in Jan and in addition to Macintosh and slater we are getting back to what we really should be doing in terms of recruitment but that shouldn’t stop us taking a punt on a young lad with potential.

Seems to be about right. Not quite good enough for the championship although probably merited more opportunities. East fife fans seem to be saying we’ve signed a defender from them. Aaron Steele

Relatively happy with Leighton. Liked him before and also quite liked how he said he wanted to play at the highest level possible, shows a bit ambition. We’re basically going to have a whole new forward line so hopeful of another striker and a wide player of some sort.

One has scored in the championship the other in league 2 son. Quite a stupid question
