    Jeez, red and white hoops is a simple classic combo, this takes the biscuit, the crazy thing is the club have to approve it, before manufacture.. I was swirling between yourself and Morton for 10th place, now after this , seaside league beckons once again..

    Another season beckons, What can we achieve this season, personally I think this will be McCabe's last stand , He looks to have signed well, is it coincidence that a number of signings have came after the Bartlett sponsorship was announced.. interesting that a couple of players have came over from Ireland their does seem to be more 'value' in the Irish market... Our squad numbers are good with a lot more options off the bench, The last time I was this positive about an Airdrie team was with Stephen Findlays lower league galacticos, that didn't turn out well.... In saying that my fear for the EK and Dumbarton games coming up are we are a little bit undercooked for this tournament, Time will tell.. Onwards and upwards

    Don't see the hype regarding McGregor at all, I put him down as in the "willing runner" category will he ever make it as a first pick,, ??? He has pace to burn, can hit a ball, but he has no game nois, positional sense, defensive idea. He reminds me of Jordon Morton who had a lot of the same characteristics.. I would be very surprised if he makes the side ahead of Mochrie, Todorov, McGrattan or any other forward player we have, nothing against the lad, but a couple of goals in pre season doesn't change my opinion..

    Hats off to Petershill FC for noticing this error, alright they were the original cause and have been punished or is there more to come for embarrassing this lot . Amateur hour , is this still being called a pyramid system, surely changes need to be made to make everything more progressive

    I fully expect Clyde to sword their way to the title this season, looks to have built a decent squad, Connell and Connolly up front should score plenty and with Jordan Allans return the worst kept secret in the lower leagues, Get someone on the end of Paul MacKays numerous long throws and the title is yours .

    Not sure but I heard that Frizzell was offered 800 a week , 2 year deal last pre season at Morton, and he chose to stay at Airdrie thankfully for a one year deal and the skippers armband....

    Too late he has signed for Brechin City apparently he was given a choice Accies or Brechin and he chose the Hedgemen..

    Bala was certainly getting plenty game time and we do lack width, so I would expect some sort of wide player in order to change things up, don't know if Bala is worth a deal though.. I actually think we are covered at CB , we have 2 loans left , we might have to wait and see how we settle once the action starts up, before glaring flaws come to the surface... I hope we don't rue spunking a loan on a reserve keeper... We need games to start now...

    Is Bruce decent, we have Mason Hancock in front of him who is excellent, wouldn't think he would have signed if not guaranteed some sort of game time.... A weird signing unless of.course Hancock is getting sold which their was rumours of..

    Agree , I don't mind nostalgia for cup winning teams, Cup final strips etc, not for probably a very frustrating and unsuccessful time to be an Airdrie supporter the 80s, I remember those days well.. Onto the away kit, it will be guaranteed to have black shorts, personally would like an Inter Milan type strip, we have never had it before , probably an off shelf number you are right.

    Trying too hard for the new kit, last year's design was far better.. sponsors logo through the diamond mmhhh, if it was so 80s bring back the white shorts, red socks combo....

    Still think we need more in wide areas, Bala not for me, need better, whatever midfield we pick it looks like being very narrow, that's fine if you are winning, but against teams with a low block it gets very difficult to play through..     Very good player Charlie, works tirelessly for 90 minutes and never hides, a Team player, probably lacks pace for the top league though....

    To be fair they have been decent so far with us, especially training wear etc, Other teams seem to get a few crackers though, hopefully ours is kept simple, if we ever get to see it
