  1. Not sure who my money would be on if that developed further, Nice to see a bit of passion and will to win.. Can anybody confirm why Dylan's goal was disallowed, maybe the stream watchers could help out, looked fine to me
  2. I think Falkirk like ourselves are caught up in the glory days, misty eyed, the fact of the matter is League 1 is of a decent standard of pla yer and manager, back in the day Gretna and their ragtag bunch of mercenaries went through the leagues, teams nowadays think they can do the same.. Money does indeed talk at our and all levels of football, but if it not invested wisely teams will constantly chase and spend there way into trouble.. Falkirk in all honesty should be know here near league 1, they are though and seem pretty clueless about what is required... listened to Marin Rennies pre and post match interview, there is a definitely a Stephen Findlay in him..... Airdrie a fantastic 3 points, showed all sides of our game today and dug it out, credit all round and we really do have our Airdrie back....
  3. Is it complacency or a lack of ruthlessness which we are also guilty of on the park ... We are 3 bodies down in an already threadbare squad.... Massive chance today to close the gap on one of the leaders of it goes pete tong, Questions will have to be asked acquire rightly so.... In saying that we have a good starting 11 and have game winners in the side.. Pressures on time to deliver.....
  4. Wish the lad all the best in the future, personally thought we could have used him as leverage in a swap dea!..... Hopeful!y that is the whole circus mov ing off, with nobody really any the wiser of claim and counter claim. No doubt the club will get its usual bad press for this mutual parting of the ways
  5. It's been a strangely subdued week after a high-performance again st East Fife, The McInroy situation looks to have dragged on too long, it seems reading between the lines on Murray's interview that Celtic and ourselves are pretty much agreed, it seems the player and his advisors are the issue here, would not be surprised if he washes up at Morton or the like... In the last week or so thats the squad down three in an already threadbare squad, The Falkirk game is massive especially with Cove and Montrose p!aying each other.. have we been caughtnapping signings wise and hoping to limp on for another couple of weeks, as said before we have little margin for error. onto The game now do we line up, does Kerr come back into centre half to partner the erratic Fordyce or does our best defender recently McCabe stay in the defence of move back into Midfield, , does Gall if fit replace Allan up top..... Falkirk who still seem an absolute basket case off the park will be dangerous and still have decent players, 3 points are imperative looking forward to it..
  6. End of the month, strong rumours going around about Falkirks potential business, nothing for any other teams even my own.. After Saturday the next League game is 29th would think most teams would be cranking it up for that weekend ....
  7. Scott Fox, Paul Watson and David Goodwillie, place your bets
  8. Nice to see Joe Cardle doing well at yourselves, was he signed to replace Easton, The magic man is ripping it I in League 1 for us, was hearing last preseason Eason wasn't offered a contract by Kelty was this anything sinister or just a player moving on.
  9. Did they mention Paul Watson signing as well by any chance....
  10. Are we putting all our eggs in one basket to get Kerr or will there be more business as well this window, what is your understanding.. I think the last player we payed money for is 8k for Alan Cook...... Oh the glory days..
  11. Scott Fox on loan is the name I am hearing...
  12. Is Aaron Dunsmore not under contract next season, he is a player Ian Murray has tried to sign twice for Airdrie....... Never really been that impressed with him though
  13. Is that Ally Taylor ex killie playing for he bens.... If so he was highly promising a couple of years back..
  14. We are really are good to watch when we are on it..... Easton, Frizzell, McIbroy here inter play is top notch, The game in all honesty should have been 5 or 6 easy, but as said before we are not ruthless enough and it is in the teams DNA, a top striker would make no difference IMO, How East Fife never scored by capitalising on another Fordyce, McInroy mash up I will never know, 30 seconds later Dylan scored and game over..... Prunty was quiet in the dug out, when he should have been firing them up when he tempo dropped.... Good 3 points and clean sheet 3 on he spin, 2 needless bookings to McCabe and Fordyce must put them close to a one game ban... I think that kicks in at 5 bookings... East Fife plugged away, with Connell still to come back they should score ok, defensively they are very slow and square at the back, we looked like scoring anytime we went forward.... I like Crawford as a manager and mid term will probably do well.. Falkirk next week is massive could do with a couple of new signings for that game, the bench is very weak and McGill took another knock, we are ticking along nicely but have little margin for error..... Onwards and upwards
  15. The only objective should be 3 points today that is far important, after that I believe his loan is up, would imagine his immediate future will be decided in next week wouldn't be surprised if Falkirk try and get him as well, it could come down to who pays a bigger slice of his wage..... Stil! Confident we will get him to end ofseason, we still need 2 or 3 other players as well.....
  16. Your right that kit is an iconic top quite similar to the Murdo McLeods umbro kit in the 70s,
  17. Are things that bad...... Question, Looking some old football clips of the 70s and 80s. Du!Barton appeared to play in White with black and gold trims, The home strip over the last 10 years or so, Gold or yellow tops appear to be the norm for a home strip, unusual for clubs to deviate so much colour wise, so what is the official traditional home kit..
  18. Nothing to do with the 8 inches of snow at Kingsmill..
  19. Apparently Clyde are playing hardball on the Goodwillie deal 35k and Jamie Wilson is the Falkirk offer.... Clyde are demanding Jaime Wilson stays at Falkirk, developing story.....
  20. I would play McCabe at Centre Half, I don't expect East Fife to be very offensive, Kyle Connell is su s pended, I think they will come for a draw and hope to sneak it, McCabe would give us more options coming out from the back. On a side note the 'Record ' is stating that 3 l league 1 clubs are in for Celtic B left back Brody Patterson it's a position we could do with improving, I wonder if we are one of the three......
