  1. Could add another 4 or 5 to that list but at least we're doing something now rather than later. Hopefully Mckinnon can bring in better quality, wouldn't be hard mind you.

Still looking for the thread where everyone was complaining that the summer signings weren't being vetted,I'm still looking. Hindsights great as a footy fan.

Aye, I wouldn't expect to see a manager publicly saying that this or that player aren't good enough, at least not one with any sense anyway! I think it's probably obvious with TOE & Turner however I'd love to know what the problem is with Russell & Greenwood.

Most definately a fitness thing with both,no pre season and Greenwood didn't play for a year.

I would see if Mitchell can play his way into new GK.

It is quite intriguing what will happen with Greenwood and Russell. Fitness was mentioned before. Would be like two new signings if they get up to speed.

Seen a couple of reserve games, Greenwood showed flashes but is way off the pace fitness wise, that said hes hardly played for a year.

I liked the look of Russell and maybe the most complete player of the 3 left backs but again,no pre season so not  up to speed.

Some of the negative c***s on here would be raging if we signed Prince and the Revolution and got them and Sheena Easton to do the half time entertainment.

Lets give the lad a chance ffs. At least Ray is trying something.

Prince and the Rayvolution..I like it.

The club held two supporters' open evenings last year with reps from St Mirren, Motherwell and Hearts fans groups to share their story and to see if there was interest in fan/community ownership.

30 turned up to the first one and less than 10 for the second one.

Confirms my opinion that alot of folk much prefer moaning on forums than actually doing anything constructive for their club. There lies the evidence.

One thing was 100% inaccurate about the statement was that all the Board are Falkirk supporters.

They may all want the best for the club however KK for example does not hide from the fact he is a fan of Celtic. CC is a Hibs supporter.

    And Lex is/was a Sellick fan. 100%

I agreed with the decision to get rid of Peter Grant at the end of the season due to his massive slump since the injury. But he was still an average championship player at worst and it's crazy to release a player like him if you don't know if you can bring in better.

The team Houston left us with didn't have no points from 5 games and wouldn't have gone down like the current team will. It's absolutely incredible that we have a worse team than this time last year, and and all of those responsible will be remembered for a long time at this club.

It's also utterly ridiculous for people to blame the board for signing decisions that were made by Hartley and Mitchell.  Many posters were wanking themselves into a frenzy at the prospect of us signing players released by Truro City, Hartlepool and Motherwell(and most have disappeared since). I tell you what, I'd much rather have Houston's 'lazy' signings from Hibs and Hearts than these jokers.

    Tell that to Olaf Thom

Massive game next week IMO, as big a league game as we have played in this division in a long time. If we get a victory I may have a bit more faith/hope like others on here. A defeat is going to give us a mountain to climb to get off the bottom

    It'll be a draw then.

  9. No doubt there was improvement, but all the good of the first half was undone by the second. That defence will always cock up. Difficulty for Mckinnon is that he's no time to experiment. We need an experienced CH and  proper right back. As he said in interview there's a reason out of contract players haven't been snapped up and won't be fully fit. However he's not ruled out signings and said BOD would back him .

We need points on board asap no matter how  we achieve it.

Fasan now equal top scorer says it all!

Thought Paton and Petra looks vastly improved and will do a job, Rudden good also, need more to step up.

No chance. Under the directorship not too long ago, the club was on the verge of collapse. The club is in a very good financial position and is not prepared to find itself being in massive debt again. The club is run by genuine Pars supporters and as much as I'd like to see us in the premiership, it won't be done by having a millstone around the neck.

But sticking their head in the sand when it comes to paying creditors.  Worse than Sevco.

I read from the point Dennon made that we’ve requested that Jak comes back.
I’d guess we are waiting for confirmation either from Watford or the player who could be weighing up or waiting for other options before committing.
    Still a positive development though....

Hartley was asked at Elliots night about Jak and said it maybe a last minute signing.
